Would stay here again and again

The location of the hotel was perfect. The room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was varied every day which is a nice touch and the staff attentive and friendly.

This isn't an unlike- just a comment. Our room was on the first floor and street side so it was a little noisy.

This was a wonderful experience during our stay in St Gallen!!

First, the staff was outstanding. We called when we arrived in St Gallen and were directed to the entrance of the hotel, where our luggage was taken inside while we parked, then were given a welcome drink. We wound up having great soup and wine for our supper that evening in the lovely lobby dining spot. Our large room with floor to ceiling windows across the wall made our room open and airy. Breakfast was wonderful and my granddaughter and I both loved the Swiss oats, yogurt and fruit plus being able to order eggs and coffees of choice. The staff directed us to the patio area across the street at the 'sister' hotel, which was a wonderful outside area to sit and relax...we used it several times during our stay, and in the evening, we sat downstairs and enjoyed the lobby space, talking, reading, and relaxing. The location put us right where we wanted to be near the Abbey Library of St Gallen.

There was nothing we didn't like...this was our favorite spot during our stay in Switzerland!

Overall, I enjoyed the location and the hotel was very clean, quiet and practical.

The breakfast room was very pleasant. The hotel is nicely decorated.

I'm not a big fan of automating hotels to reduce staff. I choose to stay in hotels because I like to be taken care of when I'm not at home. I don't think guests should need to do self check-in's on a screen or cook their own eggs. Service is the primary market offering of hotels.

The room was big and comfy. The shower and toilets are also separated and good sized. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel!

Good hotel for business trip - be aware not staffed 24/7

Good hotel with comprehensive amenities, fast WiFi and comfy beds - everything you need for a business trip. While the staff were very friendly, travellers should know that there is no staff on site 24/7 - we were locked out of our rooms at 10pm and no one was available to help - calling the hotel phone number redirected to a sister property in Zurich, 50km away!

if there wouldn’t have been the door issue, i would been fully satisfied.

the soace of the room

there was an issue with the entrance door. it didnt work when I got home past 11PM. I had been told that there the key might not funtion and in such case I should use a code which disn t work either. i had to call a number weittwn on the door and wait that the concierge from the next building came. luckily he was quick. what would have happened if I had no more battery on my phone or no phone at all on me? very annoying situation.

Simple design but cool and very comfortable. Room was a great size with pretty much everything needed for a city trip.

There is a pillow menu on offer, but we didn't realise there was only a super soft pillow in the room until too late. Would be good to offer a soft and a firm option as standard in the room.
