Liked: Location, breakfast at The Pinch next store, the place was clean. Disliked: The room and hotel lobby looked nothing like the pictures. Our room was plain and ugly and uncomfortable. Parking is stacked and you have to give your keys to the front desk (not as advertised). Service carts left in the hallways all night. It felt like the staff had given up making the place seem nice in the time of COVID and low occupancy. This should be rated as a 1 star or 2 star hotel. We checked out a night early partly due to the disappointment in the room. There was a mistake in the charge, and the hotel promised to refund the money. So far, it has not come through and multiple attempts to contact them have yielded silence. Very disappointed honestly.

An older building with its share of quirks, but an extremely wonderful staff and an awesome breakfast. it also has the added benefit of being in a great location, just down the street from the historic old city and a five minute walk from the train station. Well worth the money.

Front desk ladies especially the Malaysian lady was really friendly and helpful. Excellent service!!! Location is good, nearby the supermarket and train station. Breakfast is nice. We also had free welcome drinks, tea, soft drinks, fruits, little snacks etc in the lobby during our stay. Free parking also provided from the hotel. We have a pleasant stay at this hotel.

Great location, 3 mins walk from train station, bus stop and supermarket Migros. Easy access to all tourist attractions. Friendly staff and room is clean, spacious and well-equipped. Bed is very comfortable and our room was in the 4th floor with a great view. We would stay here again.

The staff is very nice; breakfast is good. The terrace close to the entrance is very cosy and invites you to take a rest after a city sightseeing. I would have liked to have more lamps in my room as it was difficult to read my book. I do hope to go back to St Gallen in future.

The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. I booked a one-night stay here because of a most excellent stay I had a dozen years ago. Still a wonderful staff and great breakfast, but the furnishings seem tired and worn and maybe could use a coat of paint. Nevertheless, I plan to return in a few months for a longer stay. :)

This is absolutely ridiculous, Ive received all the room booking confirmation before I arrived on 24Dec, however, when I arrived there, the hotel is closed until 7Jan!!!!!I had to run around to find another hotel so that I dont need to sleep under the bridge!!!The hotel shouldnt accept any booking if they decided to shut it down completely during the festive season.
