Hotel Walhalla

The hotel room was very modern, clean and very large well layed out. The hotel was convenient to the railway station and very reasonably priced.

The staff were not very accommodating. We stayed at the hotel during the football world cup. We asked reception whether it would be possible to advise where to watch some of the football and they indicated the bar area at the hotel. After dinner we briefly sat down in the bar to watch how a match was progressing. Immediately after sitting down we were told that we couldn't sit there without ordering and were told to sit somewhere else. There were only 2 other people in the bar at the time so should not have been an issue with seating.

The location and the view and also the comfortability

It’s not a complain, but it’d be better to have one double bed that combined two single beds as one big bed.

The hotel is just opposite the train station and is in walking distance to everywhere. Best location! The staff is helpful and courteous. The room and the bathroom are big. The bed is comfy.

I brought my own toothpaste and toothbrush on this Germany-Switzerland trip. However, the toothpaste ran out and I forgot the get a new one. I asked for toothpaste on the last day there but they said they did not have it available. I did not expect that!

Beds were too high. Pillows way to soft. Mattress keep getting separated in the middle
