Great location. Good hotel and lovely staff. Would say the shower doors need addressing as there was no way to shower without the floor being flooded.

I like the position,cleanliness of the property,staff Is very nice and helpful. Room minimalistic to extreme- just a personal opinion Water saving shower head did not give enough water And there is no water saving at all. I just had to stay in the Shower for 8-9 minutes instead of normal 3 minutes +- The room was perfectly clean. Bed seemed to be Bit soft,but it worked very well. Breakfast was very simple but OK and all fresh. Overall - very reasonable hotel and I will go back.

The hotel is at the center of old town with many restaurants and stores within a few minutes. The hotel staff were also very courteous and friendly.

Good city hotel, about 200m from the Abbey. The difference with this hotel was the hospitality of the staff, everyone was helpful and positive (including the cleaners and housekeepers). Yet everyone also took Corona very seriously, with facemasks everywhere and, of course, the check for the Certificate for entry to the breakfast room. Bedroom was a little echoey, thanks to the spartan internal design, but was comfortable. Very on trend, but may not be to everyone's taste... Breakfast was fine, some particularly good local cheeses available.

The Taxi that brought us from the train station to the hotel said that she did not accept cards - so the nice receptionist came out and cashed it for us since we only had card to pay with. Very nice staff! :) The hotel is very central, with walking distance to the train station and most of the things to see and be in St.gallen. Close to restaurants, shopping and culture. Nice rooms, with decent bed and a nice bathroom. Would stay here again.

The Dom seems to have everything going for it - friendly and obliging staff, very clean and modern, nice touches (e.g. quality toiletries) and a great location close to the old town & sites and a short walk from the station.The only reason it didn’t get top rating is that (as it says on the listing) many rooms have a shared bathroom (& toilet). How much of an inconvenience this will be depends on the individual, but it is easy to overlook when evaluating alternatives - and we regretted not going for a more expensive, en-suite option.Whilst the room might be cheap for the area, it seems expensive for a room lacking this essential amenity.

Good big room with a big bed - the shares shower facility was ok, I didn’t have to wait to use it.It looks new and well appointed. Location wise it’s very good and in the center of the city, close to the Cathedral. Didn’t manage to eat breakfast, so can’t comment on that.

I landed in Zurich, and then took a train to St Gallen, without any rest last night. On arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the hotel staff, and basically it was far earlier to check in, but after I explained to her I did not sleep at all. She quickly arranged a room for me in 3 min without any hesitate. The room was cozy and clean. I fell asleep straightaway, on the comfortable bed. It was the best quality hotel I paid for all my business trips. Will definitely stay in Dom Hotel for the future. Thank Judith for her kind help and warm welcome.

Very pleasant hotel with welcoming staff. Comfortable but not luxurious. Expensive by UK terms but this was Switzerland! Could have done with a bit more variety at breakfast!
