Conclusion: A fantastic location, spacious apartment, and good basic amenities – but with a clear need for modernization

We chose Villa Spiaggia for several reasons that were important to us: its direct proximity to the beach, the availability of a parking space, the architectural charm of the building, and the fact that it seemed well-suited for traveling with a small child. Our apartment was located on the second floor and featured a small terrace with a beautiful sea view – definitely one of the highlights. The apartment itself was very spacious, which we especially appreciated with a toddler. It was also well-equipped with household utensils and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. However, we found the interior design to be somewhat questionable in terms of whether it’s still up to date. While the furniture is of high quality, it is clearly aging. The sofa and armchairs were quite worn out – we honestly feel sorry for anyone who has to sleep on that couch. With a thoughtful redesign using contemporary brands like Minotti or B&B Italia, the house could truly become a modern gem. As for cleanliness, there were a few issues: dust under the bed, cobwebs behind the curtains, and cleaning supplies had been left behind on the bedside table. The hallway was not swept at all during our stay, and a cleaning product we placed outside the door was only picked up after two days. These small details indicate a lack of attention in the cleaning process. We paid €2,000 for the week, plus €400 in additional fees. While the location is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful spots in Grado, the property itself is showing its age and would benefit from some updates and a closer eye on cleanliness.

Directly in the centre of grado, big Appartement with lots of space, amazing roof top terrace, everything you need is close by, beautiful sea view, perfect location for a holiday at the beach as well as in the city

Lovely break

It has been a short stay, but truly amazing! From the welcoming and professional Staff, to the elegance of the hotel and its perfect location, so close to the sea, everything was perfect. A special mention to the tasteful dinner, the fish specialties were gorgeous, and to the cleanliness and cure for the detail of the room. I'll sure be back in the future, I hope as soon as possible!
