Great location in Grado to relax

The hotel was excellent with a great location next the sea. The room was big enough fro three with a big balcony with a relatively good panorama (not a full view opportunity from the side balcony). There was a garderobe room for the clothes and luggages. The beds were comfortable. The restaurant provided great breakfast buffet and generally tasty food for dinner á la carte. There was opportunity for renting bicycles, so we had a perfect half-day exploring the surrounding laguna area. We could easily find parking place (payable) for our car in front of the hotel, it was much cheaper than the hotel garage. The hotel staff was kind and helpful.

Beautiful hotel

Grand hotel in a pristine condition, solid construction with high quality interior fixtures. Very comfortable beds and soft pillows. Spacious restaurant with plentiful breakfast foods, fresh and yummy.

The heating/cooling system is central. Even though the outside temperature was 26-27 those days, the whole building was still on the heating mode. The front desk apologized for that, explaining that some clients like it warm. For me sleeping in a stuffy room with 27 degrees on the thermostat is impossible, while opening the balcony is not an option because of the mosquitos. It’s a pity that for a high price I couldn’t get a restful night sleep.

Good and spacious family suite. Great pool and sauna. Exceptional breakfast buffet.

Communication with staff concerning our needs not sufficient. Especially before stay. All in all value for money not good enough.

Returning every year, great atmosphere. Calming views over the small harbour. Very good breakfast. Free bikes

Great breakfast, spacious rooms, nice view of the harbour.

Very unprofessional behaviour of the people working at a reception on the day of departure. We had prepaid our stay fully upfront (half board, suite) and at the end, they asked our credit card to withdraw once again payment for the visit, explaining that booking.com didn't pay them. They were very rude and forced us to call booking.com to deal with their problem. Unacceptable behaviour. In the end, they didn't say even thank you for the stay or goodbye.

Best location, fantastic view from the terrace and from the spa, comfortable room, very good breakfast, nice and friendly staff. We will go back - but we rather go out for dinner.

We had a suite with a nice modern but still cosy room with a large bathroom. There's also an extra wardrobe room. WIFI is quick, even on the vast balcony as well. The top terrace bar gave an extraordinary view of the whole city of Grado (see attached photos). The staff is friendly and helpful. A pet-friendly hotel, our two chihuahuas - who were with us - asked me to pin this here :)

Someone fed the seagulls quite early in the morning, and they were noisy, but it's not the hotel's problem, just a circumstance. But if you like to be the first at the breakfast buffet bar, they help you to wake up in time :) Or you can take excellent photos of them.

Very nice but not perfect

Room was very nice, clean and modern.

If Late Check Out is not available, there is no shower/toilet and baggage storage for guests. This would be nice for guests that choose to stay in Grado until the afternoon. Breakfast was stressful.

That swimming pool was so little and i needed to pay extra to buy swimming cap and roof top bar and restaurant was closed... also breakfast not good :(

Breakfast was good and well organised. Room was big enough - but could not open door due to a terrible smell outside. Also the cafeteria

The service was awful, the smell outside disgusting so you could not sit outside or at the cafeteria as well as you could not open the balcony.
