Very tiny bedroom and the bed was the smallest double bed we have ever slept in!

Although very near to a bar no noise disturbance at all. Room really clean and well equipped with anything you could need. Amazing central location and very helpful instructions. Didn't meet any staff members and didn't have any problems but info given in case I needed to contact them
Sent codes through to access entrance and room which were a bit tricky to manage in the dark and wet. I use crutches so less agile than most. Single flight of stairs to get to the room which I was aware of when I booked and I was sent through helpful information about local disabled parking spaces nearby.

Location.
Stairs. The clear indication that the bathroom fittings had been chosen for form, rather than function.
The front door lock needs fixing URGENTLY.
The water is DISGUSTING. As soon as the tap was turned on, the stench of chlorine was awful. I had to resort to bottled water to make tea.
No microwave.

It was beautifully appointed and well thought-out, down to the bathroom design and the placement of WiFi codes. Totally wonderful location and a real gem. And very quiet too!
Only one thing, they it took a few minutes to work out where the entrance was.

Location..so central and quiet for the centre of Oxford.
Cost...reasonable for Oxford.
Staff ..very responsive
Additional facilties in kitchen area.
Bed extremely comfy
I didn't find entrance scary as a female travelling alone.
Would use again...
I knew it would be snug but had a desk so could do a work call and somewhere to hang clothes
On arrival it was too hot but staff very helpful...
Would have been useful to know how to turn off bathroom towel rail...it's supposed to be easy to find switch according to reviews but I couldn't....
Prefer to be more in control of heat...

Nice decor
This is not a four star hotel. It is a couple of rooms above a shop. Access to my bedroom was through a spindle, wobbly, tiny spiral staircase, dangerous at best. There was a kettle in the room but no mugs or tea or coffee.

location was good and room was clean and nicely presented ,great coffee machine in the communal lounge
The heating didn't work and when they came and fixed it , it was so loud( clearly needed the radiators bleeding ) gurgling that we had to turn them off . The air con came on in the middle of the night and was also very loud we had to turn off . Had pretty much no sleep and a chilly room .

Location, amenities
Quite cramped, awkward layout

The position was in central Oxford and handy for the main sightseeing areas.
The bedroom was very tight, I had to move sideways to get around it and my feet were longer than the gap between the bed and the wall. There were no windows and it was very warm. The room was not the same one that I booked, it did have an annexed kitchen but I didn't need a kitchen I needed a spacious room.

It’s central location is a real plus.
When I spoke on the telephone, I was courteously and informatively received, but two telephone messages left were not responded to.

Amazing. Couldn’t ask for a better location, and the room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I genuinely don’t understand the negative reviews - I loved the ease of checking in independently, and any questions were answered immediately. Truly effortless and enjoyable.

Extremely small room no drawers to put clothes in and only a small rail for hangers.
Didn’t like it.
Down a little alley by a taxi rank and small arcade!!! Not mentioned in particulars.
Extremely noisy at night even though rooms are meant to be sound proof!!!
People waiting for tacos shouting and fighting early hours of the mornings.
Had no sleep the whole weekend, very disappointing.

The location was excellent and right in the middle of the City. The instructions for access were clear and accurate. Please be aware that this is a managed apartment-style building and not a hotel. There are no staff available on site.
There was a useful little lounge area where you could serve yourself a drink.
There were numerous parts of the room that needed maintenace or were tatty. Nothing fundamentally got in the way of our stay and we didn't try and contact people as the problems there were not things that were new or could be fixed instantly. Problems included broken and wonky toilet seat; bathroom fittings not on the wall; the room wasn't perfectly clean; noisy plumbing and heating (just had air in the system that just needs draining)

Nice decor. Great location
It wasn’t clear that there is a very tight spiral staircase. Not ideal for my wife in heels especially after a few drinks. There was a constant trickling sound from the bathroom heated towel rail that you couldn’t turn off so the bathroom was sweltering and the noise was loud so it was very hard to sleep

Beautiful place with fossils in shared areas, facilities were nice and bed was comfortable
Stair case up to two of the rooms has a thin spiral staircase, one of the banisters was broken and struggled to get the suitcases up and down, didnt ever meet any staff

When we arrived at around 4pm, I noticed that there were no towels. We searched the apartment and area outside the apartment. I tried calling both numbers but got no reply and no facility to leave a message. I tried emailing and using the apartments own website chat facility. Nothing.
Other issues with unclear instructions on how to control the heating, and no facility to close the blind on the skylight meaning that we were woken at daybreak by light pouring in.

It was clean
The heating/ aircon did not work. It was extremely hot ( too hot to sleep). Only dormer window which initially opened minimally with remote but then stopped working after I closed it as extremely noisy outside all night.
Light over sink didn’t work. Part of shower had fallen off. Couldn’t turn off radiator in bathroom. Coffee machine didn’t work. Only berry tea bags no standard tea bags

Loved the room, the facilities and the freedom to come and go like at home.
Directions were very good but entrance door not obvious. Better description needed.

Location is very central. Room was very quiet. Room was very clean
Blind on room didn’t work so it was light. Door on bathroom not a real door just a slide of metal so awkward when sharing with friend.

Location was excellent. Furnishings to a good standard
Our “double bed” felt very small- possibly a 3/4size bed (though I could not confirm as I didn’t bring a measuring tape!). Also the room was tiny- barely 500mm around the bed to walk around.
As a consequence we had a very poor night’s sleep. Thank goodness we had booked for just one night. Would definitely not return.

Close to bus links if using park and ride, I ended up with a small kitchen and fridge which was great to keep some drinks. Clean, warm and right in the centre of things.
Code in to building and room is a bit of a pain, can't let your phone die or you'll never get in.
You can hear everything going on in space outside your room, very noisy for light sleepers.
I only had a window on the roof which can be a bit claustrophobic, I also couldn't shut the blind on the window as I think the remote was switched with another room.
Safe was not working, assume ran out of battery.
Shower didn't warm up when I had one in the evening.

Scruffy entrance , depressing , confusing entrance , not a hotel at all, very misleading . Bed had been used and was unmade .

Location was second to none, right in the heart of Oxford, Al sights and landmarks are literally 5 minutes from the hotel. Room 9 was very comfortable and clean with a comfy bed, and a good shower room, also a nice coffee machine in the shared kitchen area below.
The absence of staff is a little weird, being sent a door code on the day of check in, then didn't see anyone all the time we were there.
Not the hotels fault but there was night roadworks right outside the room window both nights we were there that carried on until 0200 both nights that kept us awake.
6.0 / 10.0
Firstly it is not a hotel. it is a group of single room flats with one communal kitchen that has a coffee machine.
Lots. it is dirty in the corridors. not the bedroom
the staff did not return messages or answer queries

Leaving a day earlier than the 2 nights we had booked.
The blind in the room did not close, hence woken at 6am with sun shining on face.
The air conditioning unit was faulty. Even when turned off it made a strange banging noise throughout the night, again, disturbed sleep.
The coffee machines milk was off.

Sleek and clean. Perfect location.
All just great!

Aesthetics were beautiful. The room tidy and clean. The common area had a wonderful coffee machine with plenty of options. The location is close to the center which made walking easier.
However, there was no way to bring a large suitcase up the steep flight of stairs and a tight circular staircase without enacting the scene from friends, pivot, pivot, pivot! So I would suggest contacting the property and asking for the lower room (only 1 flight of stairs) if you have a suitcase bigger than a duffle bag. I never saw a single member of staff during the visit, so I can not comment on them.
The entrance is literally in the side doorway of Ladbrokes, so you half have to enter their entrance 1st. There is also a very rowdy pub next door keeping us up late, both nights. I never did discover the soundproof walls advertised, the suite (it's 1 room and a bathroom), nor the room safe. A lot of things I discovered that are advertised are actually not there and are changed once you read the small print. So read the small, small print before booking this one! It is NOT as it first seems or is advertised initially.

Location was good
No windows in the property, just some skylights. Tiny bed / bedroom. A/c didn’t work, couldn’t contact staff to fix it. Lighting the property was poor. Shower door broken and hard to shut

Didn’t have breakfast as it was not part of it. Woman who cleaned room was helpful with issues we raised on site was good. Kitchen was OK and had a good coffee machine, crockery etc.
Didn’t get an answer when I ran after I arrived and couldn’t use safe, despite information saying we should contact during certain times if needed. A noise kept going off every 12 mins late at night into morning so didn’t sleep. Rang and texted woman who was off site and was terrible about dealing with this. Eventually agreed to giving us a new room that was way too warm and we left a window open which we had to shut at 3.30am because of noise outside. Both myself and family member were disgusted at how uncomfortable the whole experience was. The alley way leading to the main door was dark and full of pot holes which I fell into on last night. See picture provided.

Extremely convenient location near Trinity College, with easy access and fairly clear signage. The room was very comfortable, featuring tasteful and thoughtfully designed furnishings. The mattress was firm and comfortable — one of the best we’ve found.
In the room there was a Bluetooth alarm clock/speaker that apparently wasn’t working; one of the main lights burned out during our stay (which can happen, of course). It would have been nice to have a power strip or adapter available for continental European devices.

Location was excellent, in the heart of Oxford. The bathroom facilities were small but very modern, with a great shower. The communal lounge area was pleasant.
General lack of cleanliness and attention to detail. The bedroom and bits of the bathroom were not cleaned effectively.
The lounge was not clean and tidy and the coffee machine required maintenance throughout our stay. Dirty cups and saucers were allowed to pile up and complementary snacks, etc., were not replenished. Carpets were heavily stained and walls were full of scuff marks in all communal areas.
The lack of a full-size ironing board made ironing a shirt really inconvenient, although the iron was very good.
Communication was not helped by the fact that the cleaning staff spoke virtually no English.
NB: Room 10 is accessed by a very steep wrought iron spiral staircase, which was hard going even for two abled-bodied 50-somethings. Lugging anything larger than a cabin case or holdall up (or down) it would be hazardous.
At £170 per room per night, standards need to be raised considerably to justify the price.

Location was very good loved the period features
Needed better sign posting a bit tricky to find, shower tray didn’t drain in bathroom, ceiling blind was broken, stains on carpets and walls, kettle but no cups?! A bit shabby for the price paid
