Great base to explore Oxford
Great rooms, great location, very friendly and helpful staff.
The room location was in the new block, which involved going up and down quite a bit and honestly felt like we would get lost on a couple of occasions

Car parking and check in were excellent. Room was comfortable and clean. Location was great as well albeit you do need to pay the congestion charge
The breakfast was OK but I thought it was quite expensive for the choice that you had. It was fresh and hot and tasted nice but overall I thought that there could have been more choice for the money I paid

Good location but over priced for the experience
Characterful snd interesting
Windows don’t open. Heating a bit limited.Lift broken, first room was unacceptable. Breakfast was understaffed. Buffet ran out of almost everything including bread. Delays on service but the staff who were there were working hard.

Comfortable Stay in a Great Location
Fantastic location for the centre of Oxford. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were extemely helpful and friendly. We didn't get to use the resturant or bar.
We were given a room in the new extension, and so didn't really get to experience the former prison cell element. Although would certainly book hotel again.

Great location and a comfortable hotel
Great location, parking on site, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast. We had a lovely welcome from the staff on arrival & nothing was too much trouble. Good sized room & comfy bed, great shower & separate bath. Room was quiet given the hotel is in the centre of town. Would certainly stay again. All good, thank you
