Nothing really. It's a 12th century building in a central location, so access would not suit those with mobility issues. Also a a mediaeval building the windows face others nearby. If you are very shy you might prefer somewhere more isolated. Floor also not level but that is part of the charm

Golden Cross guesthouse was right in the centre of Oxford within a short walk of everything we wanted to see. It was very spacious, clean and well decorated.

Location Location Location. clean comfortable bedding and a friendly host
Dirty entrance carpet, smells from adjoining take aways, stained carpets, tired finishes and fittings , freezer blocked up and old food still in , no cooking facilities because of fire certificate. Noise from streets below

Location location. Otherwise this would not be recommended.
Someone drank a portion of my drinks in both bottles from the fridge. Room felt insecure with tape on one of the locks.
