The location is good. There's a bus stop nearby with multiple buses running often. Tesco is in walking distance.

It's a rundown hotel. Had I known, and hadn't I travelled by myself, I wouldn't have booked it. One can find better for a bit of extra. The shower area is extremely small, so, if you're not an average height and weight person, you might have trouble taking a shower. Walls are thin, and every time someone opens/closes their room doors, it sounds as if it's in your room. There was no way to open the window, and the room got pretty stuffy. There was no extra latch on the door. So, grab a door stopper or the like if you want to feel more secure. The check-in time 4pm is a bit too late. Yes, one can leave their luggage before/after the check-out time.

Clean

This was a wonderful, clean, spacious, hardwood-floored room with comfortable beds and a microwave and fridge. The location is perfect, ~20mins walk or 5mins by a frequent bus to the City Centre. The kind and helpful staff made us feel very welcome, and went out of their way to help reunite me with luggage that my airline delivered after we had checked out. Highly recommend!

Fair warning there is no air conditioning, so it will be a little hot at midsummer.

The pillows weren't at all comfortable unfortunately, which is pretty important for a decent sleep!
