Location was convenient
Broken and bodged bathroom doorframe, hole in tile in bathroom, hole in floor in main area. Marks on walls. Dust and dirt in various places including shower and bedside unit. Early morning drilling and banging in the next room

Nice big bed
Pretty spacious room and bathroom
Nice facilities: microwave, fridge, tv
- First room I was in had no window; owner was nice enough to let me move
- Drills and construction going on in the next room from 8am until 4pm
- Loud location on the cowley high street
- Very thin walls: you can hear your neighbours easily

Bus stop close to property
Very limited services/facility for the price paid, cleanliness could have been better for e.g. dirty microwave, no tissues, etc.

Great location if you are going to a gig at the O2 or want to be in Cowley Rd. Bedding and floor/toilet was clean.
Really tatty vibe.entrance was a pretty busted up door with a key entry. No staff (though contact details for support are given). Think it might be an ex student halls. Blind wasnt working on ceiling window. Very noisy...could hear bathroom fans /heating sounds through the night. You can see there's been an attemp to spruce the place up but it all done cheaply and everything feels a bit busted and broken. Not good for the price at all.

Close proximity to O2 Academy, Oxford
Everything was great but a light switch by the bed would be a good idea.

Clear details from owner on how to access the property which was clean, comfortable and close to where we wanted to be. Although we went out for breakfast there was a kettle, fridge and microwave so we could have made our own. Near to restaurants but our room was very quiet.

Great affordable spot. Noisy location, near o2 academy. wouldn't recomend for a lighy sleeper. Was fine for me!

The property was clean and in a great location.
Resembles “student digs” no hairdryer only 1 pillow each on bed . Heating was off when we got there so room was very cold

Right across the street from the concert venue so no complaints there, the staff were so accommodating and friendly even tho we weren’t there for very long lovely little stay for the price
there’s not really much to say about what I didn’t like tbh maybe extra pillows would’ve been nice but I never asked so they could’ve been more than willing to provide if I had

Brilliant location for o2 academy. Clean and comfy.
For a fairly expensive room, 2 tea bags and only decaf coffee,. It's a bit disappointing for something so simple.

Very clean apartments
Just an advice that each room is checked thoroughly before the arrival of the next guest.

It was opposite the O2 Academy and very near The Bullingdon, both venues we’ve been to before. So the location was excellent. The Union care park is close by, 2 minute walk and is surrounded by homes. There’s a Tesco next to it as well, if you need anything. There’s also an Ice cream parlour which is open late but closed Saturday morning (sadly) when we went this time. However, there are loads of places to eat in this road. The property also felt safe for us. The rooms are varied but they have a fridge and a microwave which is useful. Bed was large - good idea and comfortable mattress. I’ve added a picture of how I could see the O2 Academy venue from our room.
Walls are scuffed and dented and it’s not spotless.

Very clean and spacious rooms. The owner was also nice and accommodated our requests.

Easy check in and check out. Good location.
Horrible bed. Do not stay here if you have a bad back or are sensitive to mattresses that are long overdue to be changed.

The room was really nice and clean. My girlfriend loved it! She was actually pretty mad last time we came to Oxford in another hotel for about the same price. But this time, the hostel was perfect — great value, super clean, and in a really convenient spot right next to Tesco and lots of good restaurants. Definitely would stay here again!

Good location. My room was very clean, cleaner than other hotels that I have experienced. I slept so well. Excellent bed.
It's located off a busy street and it can be a bit noisy outside.

The bed was big
No windows, dirty, marks all over the walls, boiling hot with a fan that was full of dust and did not work very well. There was a picture of a window with a projector screen as a pretend blind. Half a bottle of lemonade left in the fridge from the previous victims. Overall awful overpriced stay, do NOT book.

The first room we where put in had no windows
The second room had no kitchen facilities for washing plates and cups
The ventilation was none existent
There is alot of noise from the street at night.

The bed was the largest and most comfortable I've experienced so far in the UK. Easy access to a grocery store, restaurants and pubs. The room was clean and the access was easy
First of all communication wasn't great. I sent requests about being allergic to wool and down and asked that anything of the sort be removed from the room. The only communication I received was my confirmation and access codes the day we arrived. Luckily the room has neither of the things we're allergic to or they removed them, I couldn't say. The room is absolutely bare bone, no personality at all. Minimal kitchen appliances/utensils which we didn't need, but if you're staying long you may. There was only a skylight, no windows which I find unnerving if there was ever a fire, not sure how you would get out.

Good area, nice room size and provided with coffee and a fridge.
The previous customer lost the key to the room, and the staff decided the best way for us to find our room was with the door fully opened so we could do the check in (it was 7pm...). Weird decision, as means external people could also enter the room before us. We needed to call the staff to provide a key as they said they forgot to leave the new copy for us, and wait for 20 minutes. Not the best way to start a holiday if the customer is the one making the effort to fix the situation, as they didn't message us to inform us of the situation before hand. Also, the room had a strange noise during the night.

Not a lot
Bathroom had a horrible smell. Pen or pencil drawings all over the walls window block up so no sunlight. Very noisy at night and no staff present at all during whole stay.

The location was pretty good, 10 min by bus from Oxford center
We had to try between 20-40 times to open the door with the key card system that turned out to not work so much.
If you don't need to take any buses or have a reservation in a restaurant later, or are willing to spend 15 extra minutes in the corridor to try the card again and again, it is fine I guess.
We asked the managers for help, they replied very fast, without any action unfortunately
Half a roll of toilet paper for 3 days ...
Black marks on the walls, the shower has yellowish / orange stains where it should be white.
You hear everything from the other guests, from coughing in their room to whispering in the corridor.

My key to room number 5 also let me in to room number one. I was horrified to find this to be the case. Appalling treatment of guests’ safety. I found this by chance because a friend had independently booked room one.

Comfortable beds, good water heating, microwave in the room, good location near restaurants, quiet at night
The reception staff were away to get lunch as we were arriving to check in, which meant a long wait. There are no lifts so we had to carry luggage up and down stairs.
7.0 / 10.0
Location was perfect for our requirements. Room was a decent size and had the added bonus of a fridge and if you needed it, a microwave. Bathroom was also a good size and the shower had excellent pressure
Entrance corridor to the rooms was a bit scruffy and could have done with a hoover. Room itself was pretty clean but the shower tray could use a good going over with some Cillit Bang Mould remover. One of my pet hates is mouldy sealant. A shelf in the bathroom wouldn't go amiss too. Bed was a super size but for some reason sloped down at the top. Not enough to have the blood rushing to your head but owner may want to consider levelling things up a bit
10.0 / 10.0
Perfect location with easy access to a wide range of restaurants, shops and both Brookes and Oxford universities.
If it had an AC but most hotels in the UK do not have AC.

We appreciated the convenience of the small kitchen situated between the bathroom and the bedroom.
Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. Upon entering, we noticed the carpet was extremely dirty and uninviting, and the walls in our bedroom required cleaning. Additionally, the skylight window above the bed had a remote-operated blind, but it was held in place with masking tape, rendering it ineffective as it hung vertically, allowing sunlight to flood the room early in the morning. The shower lacked adequate space or shelving for toiletries, forcing us to place items directly on the floor. Furthermore, there was no remote provided for the TV; when we requested one, the staff asked us to check the janitor's room ourselves, where we found none. The following day, after a second request, staff informed us that they unfortunately did not have a remote available and would need to order one. Given these issues, we would not recommend this accommodation.
