The owner was really helpful and the room was clean and tidy.
The neighbour on the second night was arguing/screaming with their partner till around 4am.
The room on the website that was representative of the property was extremely more attractive than the room I actually stayed in. So the initial reaction when walking into this room was one of mis-advertising, but once I'd got over that it was fine.

Our room was great! Enough space for a toddler to run with his cars. Everything was clean and tidy! The kind host greeted us and helped to carry our things upstairs and suggested kids friendly places around to enjoy a meal with a kiddo. We received complimentary water bottles and lots of soaps/shampoos! Oh and I was pleasantly surprised to have a microwave in the room! Was super convenient. We enjoyed our stay and are planning to come back.

The location was excellent, easy to walk in to the centre of town. It was clean and basic - we weren't disturbed either from other guests. A great size bed.
It was noisy all night due to the busy Cowley Road, which continued throughout the early hours of the morning - no way around this as the rooms aren't air conditioned and windows needed to remain open due to staying in the summer months. Worth bearing in mind if you are a light sleeper. It needed a bedside table for both sides of the bed, not just one side. There were only two pillows on the double bed, which was disappointing.
