Nice comfortable bedroom. Cozy bed. Parking in property around 6 spaces. We liked this guest house. You can watch Netflix.
Breakfast not that tasty. It wasn’t any hairdryer in bathroom. Travel to Oxford by bus around 20 min. If you want to park near Oxford central you need to be careful because of Congestion Charge.

The staff was excellent in their service, providing clean sheets regularly. The room was also well-cleaned, and breakfast was excellent. The guesthouse location was accessible to city centre, which was great for exploring the city. Something else to note was the helpful placecards they had in the rooms, recommending local restaurants, taxis, and such. For a newbie in the city, it was a big help.
The water pressure in the bathroom could be better, but it wasn't impossible to work with.
While the location is great for access to the city, it also means you'll hear constant noise from the cars driving on the access road at night.

Friendly staff, good communication and very comfortable beds in a quiet room overlooking the garden. They were happy to keep my bags while I explored Oxford, which is very much appreciated. Buses to and from the centre and the station were efficient and regular.
The breakfast was not up to scratch. We had to ask for cutlery and bowls. The coffee and cooked breakfast weren’t warm enough and the orange juice was fizzy.
9.0 / 10.0
Staff were friendly, the place offered excellent value for money. Close enough to Oxford city centre to walk although we mainly traveled in and out by bus with services very regular. We were upgraded from double room to Family room which offered a little extra space. They kept our luggage after we checked out for a quick last trip into the city.
Breakfast a little short of excellent, nothing to complain about just the portion is a little smaller than I think I would have expected.

The welcome was lovely.
A young enthusiastic staff member explained the facilities and showed us to our room He was chatty and very welcoming.
It was a good size room, clean, bed comfortable, decor v good, warm, lovely ensuite. Extra pillows in the wardrobe.
Towels perfect.
The room was perfect.
The breakfast staff, a couple were so helpful and kind.
A lovely lady from Moldova, served us nothing was a problem. Extra toast. To be honest she made our stay.
The breakfast was super. However mine was mixed cold mushrooms, tomatoes, rasher and slightly hotter beans, sausage and eggs.
Toast and coffee beautifully hot. I should have asked for the breakfast to be microwaved..Disappointed it was not all the same temperature.
The location of the property was ideal. Walked into Oxford in 25 mins. and caught the 400 bus back. Lovely Indian restaurant up the road, had a beautiful meal there. A public house nearby too.
A shop nearby too. The accommodation was good value.
We would definitely stay here again.
A huge thank you to all. Sx 💕
The shower trickled. The drain in the shower did not drain away, may need attention.
The bathroom blind is covered in mold.
Best to take it down. Did not use it as the glass is frosted. Ruined the cleanliness of the bathroom.

Our family room was small but charming and the bathroom was large and modern. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to
Leave our luggage for the whole day, after we had checked out.

A little tired as it’s an old building, but clean

The guest house is located in a highly convenient area, just a brief 15 to 20-minute bus journey from the lively center of Oxford, making it an excellent choice for exploring the city. Furthermore, a range of local shops is easily accessible nearby, along with several charming restaurants offering a variety of culinary options. The hotel upholds a high level of cleanliness, providing a comfortable setting for its guests.
Breakfast at the hotel mainly consists of a traditional English breakfast, featuring a generous selection, designed to satisfy any appetite and offer an ideal start to the day.
The staff at the guest house are truly outstanding; their warmth and attentiveness foster a friendly and inviting environment. They consistently make every effort to meet guests' needs, ensuring that each aspect of my stay was both pleasant and enjoyable.
The single room was too small, they changed my room that was excellent

Friendly staff, onsite offroad parking available, a bonus in Oxford, easy access to town center by bus. The room was big and clean with a good bathroom.
Main double bed was very comfortable but second single bed very squishy and squeaky, not so good. Breakfast was OK but not plentiful - ours was included in the room price otherwise would have felt a bit overpriced for what we got.

It was fairly clean and the location was good. There was a Christmas party going when we arrived and the owner invited us for food and drinks. He was very friendly.
Unfortunately, the breakfast was a letdown! Also due to the Christmas party there was no parking space so I had no choice but to block some other cars. I informed reception about it. They called me by my mobile number at 12:20 after midnight to move my car just in case the car behind me needed to go early in the morning! There was no immediate need for it.

Location
Carpet in all the building was not clean and very smelly, a strong smell of cigarette smoke starting from reception, in bed was some kind of fleas because we’ve been bitten all night, and noisy bathroom ventilation coming from all neighbours when they used the toilets.

Good location in Headington, easy enough to get into town by bus, or Brookes/hospitals if that's where you're headed. Breakfast was fine. Plenty of parking available. Staff were friendly and did their best to help.
Website says early check-in possible, but after booking it was the same 'subject to availability on the day' notice as any other place. Staff seemed surprised when I asked, so they're clearly not aware of this being mentioned on Booking - I'd suggest removing this as it's misleading.
The place looks tired, with signs of previous renovations/changes all over.
Carpet in the room looking a bit grubby and worn.
Duvet almost exactly the same size as the double bed, so we needed to ask for a second one to cover the sides.
Noisy fan in the bathroom, toilet needed two flushes.
Expensive for what it is, sadly this seems to be the case across the country.

Despite being on the main road, was surprisingly quiet. Having on-site parking was an absolute blessing. Great to have two chairs in the room to save one person having to sit on the bed.
Bed was a bit soft for my liking. Full English breakfast was a bit parsimonious, although items were well cooked.

Excellent value for money. 10 min walk to John Radcliffe. Breakfast included in the price.
Rooms very dated. Carpets very stained.
10.0 / 10.0
Lots of parking, easy check in, room lovely and big. Bed comfy with choice of pillows. Shower hot and powerful, with fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was good. There is a bus stop right outside the guest house and we used the bus everyday of our stay. Would stay again if coming back to Oxford.
Although the breakfast was good, there could have been a bit more of it.

My room was very comfortable and spacious, clean and quiet with a view over the garden; breakfast was tasty and filling setting me up for a long day; the property's location is great for access to Oxford city centre by public transport; staff are welcoming and friendly.
No complaints.

First of all, the staff's friendliness and attentiveness were exceptional. Combine this with four different breakfast options, and you'll have a wonderful start to the day. The autumn weather and the garden view added a unique touch. I spent four wonderful, quiet days.
The wooden floor of the building requires you to be a little careful when entering and exiting late in the evening in order not to disturb anyone.

Staff are friendly and respectful
Small bed and the fact that I had to share the toilet/bath.

The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable, the room was a little hot for fall though. Amenities were good and everything was easy to get to (bathroom, dining room etc.)
My room was a little stuffy I wish I could have opened the window.

Spacious, good parking, handy for Headington High Street, Oxford Brookes Uni, and city centre via bus. Friendly staff.
Room 16 - some condensation mould to main bedroom window - needs more airing. Furniture relatively cheap/dated, but served its purpose.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming
Location was great for visiting Oxford Brookes uni open day
Parking facilities were perfect and we were able to leave our car onsite for the day which was super helpful.
5 minutes walk from some great local shops and restaurants
The room smelt strongly of stale cigarettes
The breakfast was meagre, cold and we didn’t get what we had requested when we checked in but the staff seemed to be doing their best.

Excellent location, 10 minute bus journey to town. Cosy homely old fashioned bnb.
Tiny room. Breakfast was a bit stingy, one each cooked item and cheap beans. On a main road so occasionally noisy late at night.

Although we stayed in the budget house we cannot fault the cleanliness and comfort. It was close to the hospital which was the reason for our visit. Shops nearby. Good parking. Staff were excellent and a great breakfast
Only one comment really we would both have liked a grab rail in the shower
9.0 / 10.0
Good comfortable bed, quiet breakfast. Good well cooked food. G-f diet catered for.
Stairs with extra steps could be a problem for some elderly people.

Breakfast VERY POOR. location great. Room fine apart from heating. WAITRESS LOVELY.
Poor breakfast. Fried eggs ALWAYS brown underneath and edges. Only ONE TINY tomatoes cut in half, laughable! Sausage beeb around for so long, difficult to cut. Most things on plate COLD. Heating on day we arrived. But 3 days with no heat day or night. Cold in evening then when, after asking several times it went on at 9 pm it stayed on ALL NIGHT and room was then too hot and cost u money. A few hours to warm the room wd have been sensible.

Thank you very much. It was very nice and clean. The staff was great. The house is so cozy. The location is not near city centre, but for me it was just what I needed. The garden is beautiful and you can sit in silence there.
