Where do we start furst we got sent to a vacent house with no context then we called the number provided ans it was disconected then we when to the next address it had showed us and we where met with a lovely old man who had no clue who we where and who did nit run a bnb who had then told us this had been happening for weeks we then final got in contact with somekne who was verh rude down the phone who then told us the correct adress after 30 minuets of walking round and struggling to fjnd the place we where there with 4 door bells to chooses from we did not get let in until we called the man back and had to find a lock box thag was so low to the floor we practicly had to lay on the ground to open the box you then have to fight with the door to get in once we got to our double room that had 2 single beds and one double in it we checked the beds and round the sheets to be covered in stains the was old achohol bottels filled with water an old scotch egg in the fridge the place was covered in dust and there was a constant bangging noise all night the plugs were dangerous and it didnt feel very safe you jnkw its bad when you have to put one of the glass bottles infront of the door to make sure you can hear is somebody came in i wish i could say the only good part was the bathroom but waking up to a flood in the bathroom was the least of our problems. DO NOT STAY HERE yes its cheap but yess it really does show.

Our stay at this property was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. When we arrived, we first went to house number 3

Our stay at this property was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. When we arrived, we first went to house number 355 as instructed, entered the code, and then called to confirm our room number. The person on the phone told us that it was not the right place and that we needed to go to 255 instead. He was very rude and shouted at us over the phone. We had to walk about 6–7 minutes to reach the other location. When we finally arrived at 255, the same key didn’t work, and no one was there to help us. We had to call again, and the man continued shouting and behaving very disrespectfully. Once we managed to enter the room, it was completely different from what we booked. We reserved a double room but got a room with three beds instead. The room was dirty, unhealthy, and unhygienic. Later that night, we discovered bedbugs — we were bitten all over and could not sleep. It was around 3:00 a.m., and we were suffering with pain and itching. We have photos and videos of the bedbugs and the condition of the room as proof. This is a serious health issue, and we strongly request a full refund. We also recommend that this property be reviewed and not offered to guests until these issues are properly fixed. This experience was awful — rude communication, unclean conditions, and bedbug infestation. We never expected something like this.

Dirty, shower horrible if you could call this a shower bed very bad, little comfort need of more electrical outlet, some don’t work, had to take tv out so I could charge my phone refrigerator don’t work and dirty flooring bad table lamp don’t work House is moldy and should be closed for rent When I was in living room (if you could call that a living room) it was simply filthy, water started to dripping down from ceiling because some guest was in shower I had to pick up a key to the house and my room to a another place and walk from their to the I was staying I only met staff for that time and when I left

Don't waste your money

Location. Staff were accommodating when contacted.

No mention of collecting keys from another location until I called owner. Toilet flush was extremely noisy and poor drainage. Mattress was very uncomfortable and extremely worn. Shower head kept together with masking tape and practically trickles water. No hot water from bathroom tap. House definitely not being maintained from a safety aspect and in serious need of updating. Didn't really want to leave items in room as none of the doors seemed secure.

The place in not maintained, it is untidy, no running hot water in taps, bath is untidy with damaged doors. Kitchen is in very poor state, smells and hard to find any pots or cutlery. Items are all over and not arranged in any order.

Location is good with parking only at one guest room location others have to walk 5mins.

Basic and cheap

I was looking for somewhere inexpensive to stay and Atlas House met my need for a (pretty comfortable) bed.

The flooring and fittings were worn, but I didn't expect high spec for the price. What I found strange was the four (or more?) cameras at the entrance to the nearby house where reception was

nothing. We did not stay at atlas oxford house. The guy told us to call him and he told us a different location near atlas oxford house which was the house we stayed at.

EVERYTHING. The pictures in the booking.com does not match the pictures when we were there. We were given 2 single and 1 double bed which was next to one another. There was no space to move. It was just the bed, fridge, and everything clustered together. It was not the property that we booked!

Good value for money in a good location with off-street parking

Location excellent. Off-street car parking good. Helpfulness of owner. Good value for money. Many cafes and retaurants nearby (Would have been a good selling point to put this inthe written information provided)

Arriving at 10pm, had some difficulty in accessing our room. Huge confusion in reading information between Atlas and Athena guest houses

It was crazily priced for what we got. The bathroom door would not open and close unless you kicked it. There was a coke bottle in the floor. The room was dusty.

Good for walk to town but poor presentation

30 minute walk to town

Previous guest’s bar of soap in the shower. Same with used toiletries tubes. Unable to secure room when leaving for the day… possibly could have banged door harder to get catch to take but felt like it might have broken something if I did. Mouldy bathroom and taps that weren’t fixed in sink.

Unable to check in, nobody at the property. Received a text at 21:00 that I have to walk for keys

Very unprofessional. Unable to check in because nobody was at the property. The host didn't make it clear there was no reception and guest have to walk more than 100 yards late at night to collect the keys from a different address. Had I know about this, would have never booked. They should have made it clear. Didn't receive the service I paid for. Trying to contact, no response.

Surpassing expectations

The hosts, Jack and Junita, were really kind and put me at ease. The loation was very close to the city centre and easy to reach. The room was very spacious and clean and the premises quiet and comfy. I will be staying again in a couple of days to attend an exam, definitely surpassed my expectations.\

We didn't feel very comfortable and didn't feel safe leaving our belongings there when we went out.

Although it says free parking available, there is no parking at the property only at another property up the other end of the road. ?? It says Private bathroom so if that means a shared bathroom with all the rest of the people staying there but the door has a lock on then ?? The pictures shown we're either from another property or a completely different room. The covers on the bed we're Christmas covers ? There was no tea only green tea available.

Woke up at 8am to a woman demanding she’s a cleaner and we give her the keys. We said no, as we still needed to take our bags to the car which was multiple trips and needed the keys. Then she knocked again at 9.30 demanding we had to leave although check out wasn’t till 10.

Horrible, dirty and it is not as it is described

The location was favorable

It was super dirty, there were pubic hairs in the towels, everything was so dirty, the bathroom door didn’t worked and they were rude. Besides the checking was in a completely different location, and we had to walk a lot, in the middle of the cold! Not to mention that they weren’t home and we waited other 20 min till they arrived to do the checking. Awful!

30 min before checking out a guy just came i to our room and started cleaning, no knock or anything! Had to assertively tell him to come back after 10. We could have been naked!
