Everything was just perfect. The staff particularly in every section of the hotel were just amazing and we had such a lovely welcome. We only had breakfast but it was very good and again great friendly staff.

Nice hotel but we paid in advance for early check in and set off 3 hours earlier so we could enjoy the afternoon in Oxford but when we arrived we were told it was ‘subject to availability’ despite having actually paid for it and a confirmation saying it was accepted and contained no caveats.

Room was nice and spacious, very clean with nice amenities. Only downside was how loud the other guests were during our stay, there was quite clearly a party happening until 2am which kept us up. Only other tiny thing was there were no bins or bin bags in our room for rubbish.

The hotel is located in a really great place which is walking distance to Oxford, either along the river or main road. The room was large and clean. A bit of moisture damage to the bathroom door, but a big heated mirror. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and quality products.

Holes in carpet from removed radiator Dust on top of pictures and mirrors Cleaners very loud in early hours of the morning The eggs for breakfast seemed barely cooked Eye mask found behind bed Staff were helpful, was given a complimentary drink but this was limited to the hotels chosen drinks. which defeats the point of being given a free drink.

Lovely clean hotel, comfortable large room, nice bar and eating area. Small sauna and steam room but lovely pool. No top up of coffee in room but reception rectified. Plenty of cooked (albeit on the tepid side) and cold buffet breakfast choice. Drinks expensive. Would not stay again at the price we paid

Lovely hotel, and as I asked for a quiet room, I was given a room in an adjacent cottage, which was perfectly quiet. This room was exceptional, but unfortunately did not have a fridge, which meant i was drinking room temperature water which I dislike. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful, especially Eldhose. He was exceptional. Reception staff were more officious than friendly. I’m disappointed to say that a few minor hitches with technology, did make me irritated. Ie, having to continually get my card pre authorised at reception to make charges to my room, a broken card reader kept declining my card, causing discomfort. Parking added twice to my checkout bill. While packing my car up, my room card locked me out as it did not appreciate I had a late checkout, which was just another small irritation in the rain and in a cottage away from reception. Calling days later after checkout to have a pre authorised £50 charge on my credit card removed.

The staff very friendly, breakfast room service was stunning! Room cosy, only issue we both woke up with very sore throats from the air con, maybe needs cleaning or servicing? The hotel its self fantastic location with a short uber into the city centre. Will stay here again (but not with the air con on!)

Smart, comfortable room. Lovely lighting choices, black out curtains. Main bed & sofa bed, very comfortable. Smelt very clean. Tea and other choices of drink, including biscuits. We could adjust heating of the room to our liking. Lovely spa facilities to make use of including pool, jacuzzi, steam & sauna room. Dinner and breakfast options fabulous. Tasty and well presented. Loads of parking in the grounds of the hotel. Wasnt aware of parking charge of £25 for one night, until after I booked.

Would’ve been nice at check to be to.d there are no planned fire alarms scheduled as alarm went off at 4am and when trying to phone reception to see if this meant vacating I discovered that they had all gone outside and then also as we went to move outside everyone re entered as false alarm not impressed either with just an apology letter shoved under the door.

Nice hotel. Once you go in, it is a bit removed from town but provides the vacation feel. Direct access to a river thame walk was convenient and relaxing.

Good property. Most of the staff is very accommodating. There are no washers and dryers on the property and the dry cleaning service is very expensive. The gym is small but functional. There are no windows around the indoor pool so the smell of chlorine is intense. The waiters at dinner took a while to bring our food, so the food wasn’t very warm when we got it. Otherwise the food itself was delicious but kind of cold.
