The location was excellent and there is some off street parking you can book if you have a car. The place was exceptionally clean, and while the room was small it had everything I needed.
The water pressure was incredibly low in the shower, the room I selected had a very small space for the toilet.

- Location short walk to train station.
- Easy to get in.
- Rooms well maintained.
- Upstairs toilet initially appeared to have a broken flush although likely just slow filling back up (hosts offered to check which was good).

The location, just on the outskirts of Oxford, was perfect. They allowed us to keep our car at the property while we caught one of the many buses that passed by to explore Oxford. The room was as expected - cosy room for 3 people and breakfast supplied was continental. It was private and easy to access.
England is overpopulated and so rooms in hotels etc reflect this. It was quite squashy with three of us, but that is standard. I would choose this place again.

We had the sense that the owners cared for their guests and looked after us. The guest house was beautifully clean. The location was a short bus ride from the city centre and the parking was good. The common eating space was well provided with beverages and biscuits, though breakfast was not provided. The accommodation was good value for money and the services provided were commensurate with that value
No TV or kettle in the room.

I really appreciated the spacious and well stocked kitchen and dining area. This was a lovely space to relax, eat and drink in after a busy day of sightseeing. I also appreciated the security arrangements for the complex and unit. Communication with the owners was clear and timely. The room was quite comfortable with good heating! It is a fairly quick walk into town along a main road or via a very picturesque residential and park route.
The toilet in my ensuite room was in quite a small room, but this was a minor issue.

Great breakfast room, reslly ckean room.
I bearly did not book as there was no way if ascertaining if a parking place would be available until one has booked (and coukd not be refunded). The heating thermostat in the room naked a steady noise and this is quite loud

> I had a great experience staying here! The self check-in was super easy to follow, and I really appreciated the clear instructions from the host. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and cozy — perfect for a relaxing night after a long day. The location was convenient, and the space felt very safe and private. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a smooth, comfortable stay.

Great Location, 30 min walk to Oxford town centre. Parking.
Noise from fellow guests. The noise from the first floor guests did not let us sleep. There were loud conversations until very late. The house rules say no shoes inside but the guests upstairs were obviously using shoes. The noise insulation is not great anyway, stairs make a lot of noise. Ear plugs are provided but did not help. Carpet had a wet smell. We could not make the shower work at a pleasant temperature, either too cold or too hot.

Spic and span, squeaky clean. Enjoyed the shared space. Nice pub just down the way. Easy to hop on a bus.
Tiny room. Bed seemed smaller than even a full size.
Hard to get consistent hot water in the shower.

Excellent location, a short walk from the town centre, and close to bus stop.
Pleasant dining area/conservatory with access to garden.
Communication from hosts is timely and with very fast response
Bathroom facilities in the room I had were so small. The toilet space is so narrow I had to sit sideways as my knees could not fit in the gap to the wall.
The shower has been added in a very narrow space which basically allows you to stand upright, but no more, and the water pressure available was extremely weak.
This may have just been my room - other rooms at the property look more spacious on the photos. But I would not stay in that room again.

Room was good for a couple of nights and the process was extremely easy. Owners were quick to respond and everything was smooth.
I private bath would have been nice, but that’s the nature of there types of houses.

Great place.
Helpful email service to share information.
Nice shared kitchen space.
Stayed 2 different times and both very good.

We provided our own breakfast, there was just tea, coffee & water in the kitchen/diner area. This area was clean and had direct access to the garden and outside seats & tables.
The only interface with the owner/staff was via email instructions and welcome messages so felt very remote. Managed to squeeze our car into the third parking space which is obstructed by a steel telecoms box, making parking difficult. Not the owners fault.

The Check-in was very convenient, there is a storage area to drop our luggage before the check-in time which was really useful. The rooms we stayed were neat and tidy (although slightly smaller in sizes), the downstairs have a nice lounge where you can make a cup of tea and eat your own food, this was a good facility. Lots of choices of tea, milk and biscuits. The city centre is 25 minutes by walk and there are several buses that connects to the centre.

I had a private room for one person with a private shower and toilet and I really like the privacy of it. The bed was comfortable and clean and the location was pretty nice 20 minute walk to the town centre and a bus stop close by. I also really liked the little dining area and garden space!
Water pressure of the shower was really bad and the toilet was really small.

Great location and off street parking made it ideal for our parkrun trip to University Parks

Excellent location, walking distance to the City (20 min). Bike, bus and scooter hire available. Tesco express is down the road for amenities closes at 11pm.
Room was clean, communal area was welcoming. The garden was noted to have bike storage. There were provisions for hot drinks and refrigeration. Could spot a kitchen but unsure if able to use or if staff only
Bath fittings clean and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel provided in the shared communal bath.
Hosts very accommodating for our requests. We were very much grateful for our parking space.
Acknowledging it is a small good value property, it does have shared bathing facilities which isn't preference of all.
Bath with shower/toilet on one level and one toilet on another. Both were occupied on repeat attempts of frequenting. Believe shared by 6 rooms but unsure if others had en suite.
Parking spaces are very tight. x2 SUVs+ x1 Tesla just about fit so don't opt for this if needing maneuver room for buggies/children. On the flip side if your car is precious to you, it may get scratched if others are careless. This did not happen but our door was held tight so the other car was not damaged.
Lamp in room 4 not working, had been attached to the same extension lead that powered the room fan and phone chargers. Bed creaky in 4, so when one person moved, work the other up.

Parking nearby, which was a bonus for us. The house is super clean from the moment you enter. The rooms are neat, well furnished with a desk and comfortable bed. The fan was a welcome treat due to the heat. We had a room with a shared bathroom, (I left the regular room to my parents) and I was happily surprise on how clean it was, with a choice of shower gel and shampoo.
We’ve ordered takeout from the fish and chips next door (very good but huge portions) and ate at their lovely common dining area where they provide coffee tea biscuits and water! It is a lovely area and spotless! It is all organized thanks to codes that the owners send to us the day of arrival, we don’t’ see anyone but you can tell that hard work and thought is put into this place to make welcoming and comfortable!
The staircase is a bit steep for my parents but as we were here we made sure all went well!

I hope when I return one day they bring the breakfast service back :)

The B&B was clean and tidy. Staff when I called them (see also below) were polite and friendly. Facilities in breakfast room were good, with outlook and access to a small garden, EXCEPT that breakfast wasn't provided - so (I think) should not therefore qualiy for the "breakfast" bit of b&b. (I had located it by looking for "B&B's near Oxford".)
Utterly frustrated by the "On-line check-in" process, to the extent that, faced with an electronic obstacle course to complete on my phone on arrival, my instinct was to drive home immediately (and would have done had I not been able to call the proprietors at the time on the telephone to provide a code number for opening the doors). Parking availability was advertised, but on arrival, there were 3 spaces only. The notices displayed indicated that this was "reserved" but I had not seen any reference to this while booking, nor any means of reserving a space. Fortunately I took the second space of three, but this also discouraged me from taking the car into town for fear of losing the space, hence travelled in/out by bus. No human member of staff on the premises to welcome guests, or throughout my stay.

Would definitely recommend. Cornerways was exceptionally clean. Friendly and helpful hosts. Room was small but certainly comfortable. Bright and very pleasant dining area with tea available and a fridge, microwave and toaster if you bring own food . Neighborhood is quiet and buses run quite frequently. If you walk it’s probably about 20-30 min.
House is of course very old, so it can be a bit creaky, especially if other guests do not follow established quiet hours. But the hosts were very responsive when i had an issue with one.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Guest House. The room was clean and comfortable and it's obvious that there's a lot of care put into maintaining the rooms and the property overall.
It was a bit difficult to manage the no-shoes policy outside the room — inside the rooms is understandable, but moving in and out with a lot of luggage wasn't the easiest. Also I noticed that not everyone followed the same rules. So I wouldn't recommend the Guest House for anyone with a lot of stuff, or who will be coming and going a lot — however I understand that my circumstances (a lot of gear and luggage) were unique.

Reasonable walking distance from town. Tea/coffee and biscuits available. Easy access to room and good communication from host with access details. Good pub close by.

Located on a convenient bus route into the centre, extremely clean and comfortable. I had a nice view through the velux windows in the roof over the allotments, very green and pleasant.
The hosts are not in the house and there was a problem with the code opening the front door, which was resolved, but was a little alarming at the time. Thereafter there were no problems at all.

Great location for what I wanted to do.
Room was mostly perfect
Little water pressure in the shower, it took me 15 minutes to figure out how to get hot water.
The locks and entry process was more complicated than it needed to be

I had a great stay at this guesthouse. Everything was excellent, the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the entire place was very clean and well-maintained. The room is small, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect, you can walk to the city center, and there's a bus stop right in front of the house, which is very convenient.
The only downside was the shower, as the water pressure was quite low. Still, that’s a minor issue compared to the overall great experience.
Highly recommended!

I loved the little touches of comfort - water bottles, chocolate and snacks. I was not expecting it. The constant check ins from the hosts were also welcome. I loved the convenient location. You could walk easily or take the bus which stopped right opposite.
I had a previous host cancel at the last minute so I had to book this property. My room had a shared bathroom which was on a different floor. That is not the fault of this property but I could not get anything similar to what I had booked at short notice. Despite that, I enjoyed my stay at this property.

It was a great place to stay at for a short Oxford trip. We had everything we needed. En-suite bathroom was a plus. If you have big luggages, the room space is a little limited. Other than that cleanliness of the place and ease of access is great. Almost all the busses to the city center passes through the road in front of the place. However, it’s not a noisy place.
