Very good in a kind of lovely British style. The room is very clean and comfortable. And the breakfast is very delicious and adequate.

The bed was comfortable
I am sorry but when you want to "host" people, you need to have a minimum of hospitality behaviour. Be kind, maybe smiling, because the customer is not only an amount of money. So disappointed !

Breakfast was basic but as advertised and well prepared. Comfy room, lovely staff, and flexibility on check in. The staff were very kind to allow me to keep my bags there after check out for a few hours while I explored Oxford.
I would have liked breakfast to be a bit earlier so I could get to my sightseeing quicker without coming back to the b&b. There were unfortunately wasps in my ensuite in the morning which made it a bit scary to shower. Staff responded well when I told them about it.

Location.
The whole place was RUBBISH. Tried to complain, no one called back. Utterly disgusting Guest House. Should NOT be on Booking.com.
Cold showers. Breakfast was a joke. Toast & Tea

Despite asking twice via Booking.Com and contacting the place directly, I never got a reply - just tried again calling them one more time (the number I had for them was always switched off) and got a reply! I'm a vegan so wanted soya milk available for breakfast - he did get some which was great but, sadly, not really anything else, like non dairy spread for toast, or dairy free yoghurts - maybe I was expecting too much? Having said that, there was plenty of bread, jam, cereals, fresh fruit and fruit juice so that was really good! The room was nice and great wifi and good size TV. Bin in the room was emptied daily which was good too! Location is really good for local shops and buses.
As above, lack of communication, awareness of vegan requirements was surprising in such a cosmopolitan city and I have to say the general standard of cleanliness in the room was a bit lacking - lots of fluff under the desk and around the extension cable, and on the pipes in the bathroom. The shelf above the sink needed to be fixed - it was slanting downwards so I couldn't put anything on it without the items falling off, and the shower cubicle needed some attention.

The cost was very reasonable for Oxford. Transport links into Oxford city centre were very good.
The room was very small and felt it had been shoehorned into the attic. The bathroom although functional had a temperamental shower temperature level.

Parking outside. Good location as easy bus into Oxford. Clean bed.
Very tired . Shower didn’t work. Rather grubby in general.

Overall the place is fine and the bed was comfortable and clean with good size bathroom that had hot running water.
It was expected from a B&B . Location is in a nice area and easy to get into town with a lot of local buses going by. Staff were friendly and accommodating . if you looking for a nice short stay this works well .

The people who run this b&b are very friendly and checking in and out was easy. The bed was clean and comfortable and the shower worked very well. Overall I felt safe here. The location is nice in Summertown, close to shops and about 40 mins walk into Oxford center.
My room was in need of some refurbishment as the balcony shelf and hooks were hanging off the wall, for example. My main complaint was that my room on the top floor got extremely hot. There was a heatwave and the window only opened a small amount and the blind did not fully close. So it was very hot in the room and difficult to sleep or spend much time in there.

I chose this place largely because of its location and it was very convenient for my particular purposes. The landlady was friendly.
From the moment I stood at the front door, I felt that the place had seen better times. The door was scruffy and in need of a lick of paint - as was the whole interior. My room - a VERY compact (poky) single on the top floor - was badly in need of some TLC and re-decorating. While it was superficially clean, it sort of felt as if it hadn't been really thoroughly cleaned for ages. The bathroom was functional but also scruffy and there were weird noises from the plumbing throughout my stay.

friendly staff responded to my requests. Bathroom well stocked with shower gel, shampoo & body creme. Breakfast well stocked with alternatives, but only cows milk available. I perfer nut or oat milk
former guests towels left in room when I arrived. I put them outside the room. Room was grubby with old cushions on bed & an old blanket on lower half of bed. Towels were clean but old

Breakfast was tasty, the choice of toppings was satisfying. The location was ideal for my trip. The beds were quite comfortable, but the most important thing was the silence.
There might be some small comment, but it would be so insignificant that there is no point in even mentioning it.

Good location. 30 mins pleasant walk to centre.
Early check in.
Kettle had to be placed on floor to use due to length of cord.

The room was comfortable enough and breakfast was okay.
Exterior and interior felt very tired and in need of modernisation. I had to check in via phone which meant I was not greeted in person. The electric shower had a mind of its own regarding temperature.

It was very clean. The breakfast was decent.
The host wasn't terribly friendly. She was probably annoyed that we arrived a little late. The room was a little small and hot with no fan. There wasn't much space to put things.

A great little cosy B&B in a lovely part of Oxford. Check in was smooth, the room was very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious!

Full english breakfast was nice.
Coffee at breakfast was awful and the water for the tea
was cold.
The room had creaky floor boards.
Bathroom was far too small. Couldn't clean your teeth very well in the tiny sink. Banged your head on the shelf above.
The walls to our neighbours room were thin. Heard them come back at 1am. Woke up as sounded like they were trying to enter our room. Heard them flush the toilet 3 times consecutively. Noisy as a saniflow toilet.

Location was close to a bus stop and local shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a basic English breakfast. Coffee was drip filter, though I think I saw a cappuccino machine in the kitchen unused. Being able to use a microwave meant the option to heat food at night was available and I was not the only one to utilise this.
Hair in the drain of the bathroom sink only arrival, and no soap provided or shampoo or spare toilet roll, however these all appeared on the second morning of my stay. I think the room had only been partially cleaned and prepared before I arrived.

Friendly welcome. That's it.
The room they gave me obviously hadn't been cleaned in years. You can tell by the amount of dust on the floor. Sure, the bed sheets get changed but they hang on the floor in years worth of dust against the wall.
I saw 2 bed bugs on my pillow, 1 crawling on my hand. Took pictures as proof.
Left immediately.
It is that kind of laziness and neglect that puts peoples' health at risk.
UTTERLTY DISGUSTING.

Great location, breakfast "as you want", very affordable. Been here the second time, and really loved it.
Could be a little warmer inside...

Great English breakfast. Run by a charming family who couldn't be more obliging in response to any requests. Would visit again.

they offer breakfast which is goos but i did try.
The toilet has a weird machine that helps the water drain away. When you wash your hands, shower, and flush, it makes a loud and unpleasant sound. It is so annoying and it blocks so easily which means after you use even if you did put any tissues in, it still will block..... which is disgusting....

It was very clean and good value for money, especially given that a good full breakfast was included and you may strike it lucky with the free parking spot.
Can't escape the fact that this is not a stylish boutique hotel but a quite dated b&b. If you can't cope with that then go elsewhere.
