Great location, friendly staff

We had a room on the ground floor and if windows were open you can hear people in the courtyard.

Everything was as described. The room managed to pack a lot of things into an efficiently small space, which worked well for my purposes. The TV was huge (sit or lie on the bed for the best view), there was a thoughtful range of supplies on the drinks service, there was a sink suitable for washing and a well-positioned fan. The window worked well (very important as I travelled during a heatwave). Even though there was only reception service part-time, the receptionist/owner was very good at troubleshooting issues both minor and potentially major (I would like to emphasise the major issue I encountered was caused by factors completely outside Tower House's control, but the Tower House team handled its part of the solution very well under the circumstances). Top marks, would happily visit again.

I have no complaints. (If you think you have a complaint while at Tower House, just make sure the receptionist/owner knows about it - the standard of troubleshooting is excellent). Please do make sure this is the sort of hotel you want before booking (the hotel entry describes thoroughly what it is and isn't).

The location is excellent being right in the centre of town with easy access to all the main attractions. The room was comfortable and well furnished. There was a welcome fan to help with the heat.

The outlook from the room was of adjoining properties and so nothing very appealing. The show was adequate but perhaps in need of replacing.

Convenient central location

Blinds were not fitted properly so let lots of light in. Bathroom light didn’t always work. Room cannot be locked internally. Room had a musty smell and was only cleaned once during my stay.
