I love how convenient the location is. Bed was very comfy and the room were kept clean.
It would’ve been good if there was a
Lift even for the luggage.

All fine

It is a comfortable hotel in the central part of Oxford, very close to the bus station. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfy bed and a working desk. The staff was very friendly and ready to help
There are several peculiarities to consider when booking. First, there is no elevator, and the stairs are pretty steep. If you have heavy luggage, that could be a challenge. Second, there is no breakfast and no common space
Still, I will be happy to stay there again

The Hotel is in a good location, 10 mins from train station, near the high street, about 30 mins walk from O2 if you are going to a gig. No breakfast but there are places nearby you can go to. Room was clean.
The hotel entrance is a bit set back off the street so its easy to walk past it as I did !! Not a negative issue but just keep your eyes open !

Good location, not far from the train station. The room was clean and had everything needed for a short stay.
I could hear absolutely everything going on on the busy street outside. It was so noisy, barely possible to sleep at all :(.

I walked from the rail station and therefore the location was perfect. My final venue was the Town hall and it was an easy walk from there as well, even with my recently operated knee, I did not need transport.
The room was clean and tidy and the bathroom convenient. Shower and toilet perfect.
There are many restaurants and a cinema nearby and you were spoilt for choice to find a place to eat.
I have had knee surgery and the climb up to reception carrying my small case was testing. Obviously that does not apply to an able bodied person.
The TV Colour was distorted and no matter what I did with the picture setting it stayed that way.
The bathroom did not have any room for me to place my toiletries, which I placed on the floor.
There was no bedside light, and therefore I had to get up to switch off the light.
My window was facing the main street and the noise only subsided well after 12.00 pm. I guess being a student town, this is to be expected even on a Wednesday.

Perfect location, walking distance from station and Oxford centre. Helpful in storing my suitcase before checking in and after I'd checked out. Great staff. Room was fine
Nothing. Room would be improved by a bedside light otherwise great

The front rooms on George St are v noisy and so v poor sleep

Well located. Steep stairs, no elevators, no reception staff. You have to press the buzzer and wait for them. Room was clean but small and no effective communication with staff who are not there basically.
Location only. Misled to believe that it’s 4 star property. Booking.com should amend it.

Convenient to town centre. Clean and lots of attention to detail.
Our room had very noisy air conditioning and toilet seat did not fit the toilet was too small.

Location ,room exceptional . Stayed 1 night room 9 which was great no noise.
The Air Conditioning was great and much needed as there was floor to ceiling window (without a view). The two very small windows at top were the only two that opened. AIR CON needed. Shower pressure was great.

location
Reception staft absent for most of the time. Room was dated, many broken things, common parts shabby - looks like a youth hostel

Ease of access to Oxford
Boiling hot, stuffy, really noisy all night

Location
Staff didn’t care that our room was subject to a main door opening and closing which meant a very disturbed night.
8.0 / 10.0
It is clean and comfortable and the receptionist was friendly. By far the biggest advantage is the location in the city centre.
For the price facilities are limited; it is made clear there is no bar/lounge etc so basically what you get is a comfortable room and decent bathroom. As facilities are limited you would expect what is provided to be spot on, but for example there was no milk/whitener with the tea/coffee making facility.

Nothing. It was the most uncomfortable disgusting stay ever and unprofessional staff that can exist.
Everything! The towels, the room, the carpets and everything that qualifies for a hotel stay was unclean and disgusting. The hotel did not have a working heater and they dared to blame the customer for everything of their fault and treated me so badly insulting and accusing because I wanted to leave due to their non working conditions.

Very clean, excellent location, suited our purposes exactly. Great choice.
Nothing really, it did exactly what is said it would do

Searched on booking.com
It was old, the carpet was stained, the curtains were stained, the roller blind in the bathroom was filthy. The shower didn’t work properly. The hotel is situated in a busy street and the noise from outside was unbearable. And once the bars closed and people finally stopped making noise (3am) the street carts cleaning the streets came out. The hotel needs to be double glazed and modernising.

Location, it wS extremely central.
I had paid for the hotel in advance but when l got there, they also wanted me to pay a £100 deposit in case of damage to the room which would be refunded by 1pm on the day of departure. I objected and told them no mention had been made to this during booking and l had never heard of of such a thing or ever been required to do such a thing before. There was an an issue with the card machine which appeared temperament. They offered to put my pin number in for me and when l refused to disclose it they eventually waived the deposit. The whole thing left a bit of a bad taste in the mouth. The hotel was described as boutique, but my room was very small and basic and not up to that standard. As an aside, the toiilet seat was also mot affixed properly to the toilet.

Super central with good sized room. We left our backpacks pre check in and found them in our room on check in - nice touch 👏
Tiny shower room and steep stairs to access room

Liked nothing. Non-existent breakfast which we WERE expecting. Whole hotel looked like a building site from outside.
Only lukewarm water in the mini bathroom. We were told the water temperature was dependent on the external temperature - nonsense! Eventually fixed so could have warm shower. The kettle wouldn’t fit under the tap in wash basin, although kettle small, so had to be filled by putting water in drinking glass and emptying in. Only 4 small milk sachets left on tray and used in one go but no-one on duty in reception to ask for more, and no intercom or phone to contact anyone. Felt very isolated and abandoned. Very tight fit with ridiculously large bed and wardrobe. Could barely open wardrobe door.
