A fantastic location to view the harbour, luxurious accommodation and hospitable hosts.

Always follow the recommendations of your brother, if you have one (he recommended Allegra to us).

The location is top notch and is the main reason why we went there. It offers beautiful views and easy access to activities. The breakfast experience was enjoyable for many reasons including, the choice and quality of the food and the artful display of the fruit plates, as well as the lively discussions with our hosts.

The hospitality of Heinz and Brita was superb. The view from our room and balcony took in all of Paihia and was most enjoyable. Breakfast was full on for food lovers!

Could not fault Allegra House and it is a short downhill walk of about 10 minutes to the waterfront. Uphill was a bit more of a challenge so a car is essential.

Amazing stay & outstanding views in Paihia, NZ!

Heinz & Brita were the most gracious hosts. The room had everything we needed for our stay, very comfortable, and the view from the balcony was stunning! The Allegra House was a close walk to everything Paihia, and they have a cute little shortcut path down the hill. The breakfast & homemade bread was delicious ~ so much to choose from to start your day. We would definitely come back to Paihia & stay at the Allegra House again.

It was top notch. A true B&B. Wonderful hot or cold breakfast and engaging conversation with hosts and other guests. A warm, comfortable, and relaxed ambience. Very comfortable bed with a wonderful view of the bay and as much privacy as we wanted. Thank you, Heinz and Britt. 🤗

A wonderful stay in a beautiful environment!

We had a wonderful stay at Brita and Heinz’gorgeous property! Our room was spotless and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Our hosts were fantastic and had excellent knowledge of the local area and provided us with great recommendations. Heinz daily baked bread was yummy, a fabulous treat every morning along with great breakfast.Highly recommend staying here and we would love to come back!

Beautiful Bay of Islands

No matter what room you choose you will have a panoramic view of the bay, an outdoor seating area, and the fantastic breakfast (fruit, yogurt, cereal, bread, cheese, cold meats, and cooked-to-order eggs). Rooms vary: bed size, stairs inside/outside/none. Just a 5-minute drive to Waitangi Treaty Grounds. There is a path downhill to Paihia but plenty of parking in the village if you want to drive (generally more than 2 hours you will have to pay to park). Deep Water Cove snorkel trip with https://bayofislandssnorkelling.co.nz/ was great.

This is not a self-catering stay. There is a refrigerator and tea/coffee kettle but no microwave or other cooking option. There are plenty of places to eat in Paihia.

Gorgeous property, wonderful view and exemplary hosts.

The view from the property is to die for and it's not too far from the main drag. Everything was easy to get to from the property. The breakfast was one of the best we've had from a B&B, so much variety and plenty of it. The hosts are lovely people and you can tell that they love their way of life.

Amazing views, great hosts and awesome breakfast

Excellent location with stunning sea view of Bay of Islands and Russel. Brita and Heinz are great hosts, greeted us on arrival and made us feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was awesome, nice variety with lovely fresh fruit, price was included with room. Had a very interesting conversation with Heinz who has so much local knowledge of this area / region. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend Allegra House if visiting or passing through the far North.

The location is great and the sea view is amazing. The House owner is a nice couple who prepared amazing breakfast every morning. it's been a great leisure time to live there for two days, will definitely come again in the future.
