In October2022, we stayed here, grabbed takeaways from Greens & had in our room which had all the basic cutlery for having meals. This time around, there was no cutlery in the room. Why has this changed?

Amazing, reception,staff, facilities. Totally Satisfied!

Breakfast was great and service good, all facilities were on point. Reception was professional and efficient, served with a smile( a smile in any situation makes my day always)

My only problem was room service. I had to ask for replacement towels, but staff were always close by. I always keep my apartment clean and tidy, so only really needed towels replaced.

Best place to stay and what an amazing view from the deck

Our Junior Suite was so lovely and the view was amazing, plenty of room and convenient to walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The pool was awesome. I would highly recommend The Kingsgate, it’s definitely a 10/10. Will definitely go back there. ❤️🌴☀️💯

The facilities, the lovely receptionist lady 😊 and the view from our room was super slayyyy.

We had a wonderful start to our stay! The facilities are excellent, and the kids really enjoyed the pool and games room. We ended up leaving halfway through, as I had booked the room for my partner and his colleagues, as their Xmas work do was just down the road. But what I didn’t like - was having the booking under my name, and the boys getting a noise complaint 🤺🙄🤣 never againnnn booking on behalf of someone if I’m not gonna actually be staying the night 😂 lesson learnt.

Room was spacious and very clean. Absolutely loved the fact there was both a shower and bath! Location doesn't get any better.

Don't think I'll be back

Only 1 Staff working at restaurant from 4am-after 8am when we finished our dinner at restaurant. She was very tired. Food not worth the money basic food and chicken patties for burger $24 not worth the money. Not a big variety.

Absolutely Fabulous.

What a lovely stay we had. It was great value for money, clean, it had everything we needed and friendly staff. Great location so we were able to stroll to the local cafes and restaurants in less than 5 minutes. We would highly recommend to everyone to stay here. We will definately be back.

Good central option for Paihia

Very central location. Plenty of parking and the rooms were comfortable and quiet.

Stairs were steep and narrow making it hard to carry bags etc up and down them. The bathroom was also very small with no bench space and the shower was poorly designed so water went all over the floor. The price point meant we accepted these inconveniences as part of being in a cheaper option but would not have wanted to pay more due to this.
