Met by the lovely Lois and given a choice of rooms. Everything was exceptionally neat and clean. Very quiet at night. Fabulous location with shops, cafes and boats within an easy walking distance.

Great location on the waterfront and very close to wharf, shops, restaurants etc., but still very peaceful, Lovely view, good sized unit, easy parking, good shower, comfy bed..

Nothing major. The bathroom had 2 doors, into living room and bedroom, which was fiddly and took up space in the bedroom. We used the space in front of the bedroom door for our case and just used the other door.

Always great and I will return again and again.

Staff were friendly and accommodated my unusual check-in and check-out times. The room was tidy and well-appointed. The kitchen was sufficient to cook a quick meal. Location was fantastic. I have stayed here before and I will stay here again.

The only slight downside is that with the window/ranch slider open, you can get road noise, so you need to depend on the air conditioning in summer. But a small price to pay for such a great view and amazing location.

Excellant value hotel in great location

Great hotel with recently renovated bathroom facilities. We chose a waterview room and view was well worth it. Close to supermarket and treaty grounds. Room was clean and good kitchen facilities. I would stay here again. Easy walking distance less than 10 mins to wharf area for ferry to Russell and Hole in the rock tours (Front desk can book this for a 10% discount). Room was clean and no noise from road. they have a self manage coin laundry onsite which is handy. We spent a day at Russell and a Separate day for hole in rock tour although you can combine into one using the hole in rock tour. The Duke of Marlborough hotel for lunch in Russell was a highlight (amazing fresh Russell oysters).

Hotel was really great. No complaints. the car parking spots are a little tight if you have a large SUV hire car but still manageable.

Perfect place to stay

From the time we arrived we were made to feel special, the accommodation was exceptional, the location was fantastic overlooking the Bay of Island. It is the place to stay being able to access all amenities easily. We would recommend this accommodation.

Stayed here for one night 11th October. Great service at reception when we arrived, they knew who we were as soon as we stepped in. Great location, short walk to the shops and restaurants. Directly opposite the beach. Spectacular ocean views from the front units. We stayed in unit 11, upstairs and facing beach. Stunning views. Balcony from master bedroom and also from lounge. Fantastic little one bedroom unit with everything you need for one night or much longer stay. Kitchen has mini stove top (2 pots), 4 seater dining table and 2 seater couch (quite comfy) and 2 other lounge chairs. 2 tv's. Lovely bathroom with huge shower, plenty of hot water. Very tidy and super clean. Lovely white bed linen and fluffy white towels.

Location, Location, Location

We loved everything about this motel, from check in with Quinn, to Anita calling us soon after we left to advise we had left a piece of clothing behind. This never happens. Quinn provided lots of information about the must dos in the Bay of Islands and wish we could have stayed longer. The location was perfect as was our studio. Could not recommend highly enough and hope we get back at some time in the future.
