Everyrhing. Dishes and utensils felt greasy..had to wash it beofre using. Bathroom and toilet were run down. Everything didnt feel.clean.

Beautiful tropical setting, peaceful, bird song, had all amenities.

A couple of items could have been cleaned a bit better.

The location was perfect, loved how we were in amongst nature, was very spacious, the manager/owner/reception lady ???? Was amazing and went over and above for us and she was super lovely and friendly and the kids said it felt like we were at the islands

Sadly wasnt happy with the lack of cleaniness like, blinds, the floor, windowsills just general up keep was poor, stiff cupboards and drawers in the kitchen, lots of cobwebs

Staff were very friendly. Just the electricity going down on the second day however it was fixed. Thanks

Awesome welcoming by the host. Very comfortable apartment in a beautiful bush surrounding. Sounds of birds was the best way to relax and to forget about any negativity that's happening in the world..

The only thing I didn't like was our stay wasn't long enough... Like Arnold once said....I'LL BE BACK

Peaceful Paradise in Paihia 💯 Location, location! A true place of peace and tranquility, surrounded by native plants, trees 🪴, and the sweet sounds of Aotearoa birdlife. The apartment was well-equipped and had a warm, home-sweet-home feel—everything we could’ve asked for! Huge thanks to our lovely host Jan for taking such great care of us. Truly appreciated!

The region the accommodation was located in

The lady at reception was abrupt when I first checked in telling me I should off booked directly to save money not through Bookings.com. The apartment was advertised as two bedrooms however the main bedroom was in the upstairs living area and the second bedroom was in the downstairs living area. The apartment had dirty bathroom items on the stairs, and it was generally not very clean with hair and mould in the shower. I went and asked the lady at reception if it had been cleaned to which she informed me she had cleaned it herself and what I was saying was incorrect, however she made a big fuss and said if it wasn't up to my standard she would go and clean it again however there was little improvement after her clean. It was advertised as having laundry facilities which I informed her of and that there was no laundry in the apartment to which she replied there are laundry facilities in a separate communal area, however she had not informed me of that and there were no instructions in the apartment as to where these were. Her rudeness caused me to get upset emotionally and I couldn't be bothered arguing with her anymore. The next day we found previous guests' medication in the bedside table. We made a decision to then cut our stay short and forfeited a night's accommodation and left the area to head back to Auckland a day early This was a little disappointing as the region seemed so lovely, but a stay can be disappointing due to the accommodation. We are from Australia and spent 2 weeks in New Zealand with this being the last stay before heading back to Auckland to return home. This was the most expensive accommodation we had in New Zealand and the most disappointing.

the apartments were like a little Oasis in the bush whilst being incredibly close to the beach and everything you need. the rooms for clean comfortable and spacious and very well equipped. loved that our dog was welcome and happy and comfortable in the room as well.

I love the peaceful environment at b.o.i apartments and that my fur baby can also enjoy the peace and be with us

Only thing that was a little bit of a dislike was other dogs here in the bath tub and all over the floor.I just cleaned it..Would have been nice not to have had to do that but it didn't hinder our weekend or that we will return..Maybe a note for the cleaner..

We stayed in March this year. The apartment is nicely secluded and private and conveniently located close to a supermarket, the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, the information centre, ferry to Russell and shops and places to eat. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Overall, the apartment would benefit from a little bit of maintenance in places, particularly the bathroom.

Awesome location and our cottage had everything we needed and super comfortable. The location being nestled in amongst the trees and waking up to the birds was awesome.

The privacy and the comfort.. Everything was great .Loved that my fur baby could stay,as pet friendly 👌

Lots of dead sand flies but nothing to cry home about on the stairs and in the bathroom we just vacuumed them up. To be expected in bush setting

Jan was fantastic, informative and friendly. Nothing was too much and she was very patient regarding our questions.

there was a paper stating extra charges for leaving property dirty, which I totally understand, but the floors were dirty when we got there and I worried we would be charged (we weren’t). property manager was so nice. description said washer and dryer but there wasn’t one in the room. it wasn’t until we were leaving that we saw it was in a separate building but the office.

Liked that our unit was nestled amongst the Bush. Enjoyed hearing the birds singing. Unit had everything we needed. Loved the private deck and having the use of our own bbq.

Could not fault any.
