Wendy and Phil are wonderful hosts! Great breakfast each day and very lovely room with en-suite bathroom. Gorgeous back deck and pool. Perfect for morning coffee each day. Highly recommend for Paihia area stay!

It’s just a room( mine was in the basement) there is a steep hill to get up to the room. Just a warning if you would like to walk in to town so you don’t have to pay for parking.

We had a lovely stay with Wendy and Phil. The property is well maintained with beautiful views and surroundings. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is generous and delicious. It's a 10-15 minute into the main part of town for dinner with plenty of choices. Plenty of things to see and do nearby as well. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Wendy and Phil for having us.

Thanks Phil and Wendy for two relaxing nights! After five weeks going around New Zealand this was exactly what we were looking for! Decks of Paihia is the best b&b I've stayed in. A feeling of luxourius hotel but a very nice personal stay thanks to Pihl and Wendy. Calm and quiet sorrundings. A true hidden gem in the bay of islands!
If we return to NZ we will definitely stay here again!
