Motel in good location for beach

A little away from the main shopping area but within walking distance. Very close to beach. Comfortable room with reasonable facilities. Kitchen could have offered more like plates and knives. Staff friendly and helpful. Price good.

Location was good and unit was clean. Only met one staff member who was friendly and welcoming Room was serviced. .

I think it us appalling that motels raise their prices by $100 per night over Waitangi weekend. There is only q day that is a public holiday so therefore only one day of paying time and a half for staff. Considering it was at full capacity makes the extra $100 a night even more galling. The beds are the hardest beds i have ever slept on...like lying on wood actually. Will not be back.

Great location and pool!

This place was great value for money and the pool and location was excellent. The motel met all of our needs for a one-night stay in Paihia after a long hike to Cape Brett the day before. The pool was amazing and the staff really friendly. Would definitely recommend this motel to anyone staying in Paihia as the location is very close to the town center so an easy to walk to any facilities. Would definitely stay here again if we were to come to Paihia again and would recommend.

Great Family Time!

Our room was nice and close to the pool with a carport right outside. So it was convenient to move things between the car and room especially if you are exploring the area while in Paihia. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Thanks Howie!

The beds were very squeaky and noisey couldn't even move without wake wife up . Had to flush toilet multiple times before it goes down , no spa and shower took ages to get warm

Excellent location, 200m from beach , great restaurants & bars. Very spacious room with x2 Queen &1 Single bed, large bathroom, mini kitchenette,free wifi, in-house movies,delightful balcony with ocean views. Excellent value for money. The staff were so friendly & helpful!

Lovely area but find somewhere else to stay

The manager was aggressive and accusatory- we reported damage to a wall in our room done by one of his staff (deliberately or accidentally?) - looked like someone had punched the wall - while we were out, and he promptly accused us in a tirade!!! Tarnished the whole stay. The Wi-Fi was terrible and the TV unwatchable for much of the time. Coffee at breakfast was dreadful. The whole place has seen better days
