Thanks for a great nights sleep

I liked it as it was exceptional value. The rooms were not luxurious but they had all we needed for a one night stay after a long flight and traveling hours. You could see the coast line and it was a short walk for tea. Everyone slept well and were refreshed when we eventually woke.

For the price we were happy and only looked for cleanliness and comfort. No aircondlting but the fans supplied were fine

Quiet, comfortable stay option.

Comfortable, very clean room with separate bedroom, bathroom and lounge area. Close walk to Paihia - Russell ferry. Off road parking. Quiet location as one street back from main street of Paihia.

The room had two entrances, the bedroom had a door and window right next to and above the bed; the lock was only a push button type. I chose to keep the blind down for privacy / security. The complex is two storey and as this room was on the ground floor you do hear people up above when they are up during the night using the toilet.

OK for lower-priced motel but would not stay again.

Close to main shops. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff.

Rooms not soundproof enough. Heard talking & tv from neighbour. Cold weather, cold room. Heater noisy. Needed to ask for an extra blanket. Fridge noisy. Drawer in bathroom with missing handle. Toilet seat not well secured. No shelving in shower. Windows/ranchslider condensated floor to ceiling on both days (too cold to open window).

This was my second stay at Bounty Motel, and definitely won't be my last.

I was on a work trip (with some sightseeing thrown in) and stayed for 12 nights in September 2025. The location is perfect, being within walking distance of the village, wharf and most facilities (including a supermarket) and even the Waitangi Treaty grounds. I had a single unit, which was clean and tidy, and had all the facilities I required. The staff were unobtrusive, but still very helpful when I needed assistance.

Couldn't fault it from booking to departure. Great Motel, lovely and quiet, only one street back from the waterfront. Lovely warm unit. Lovely gentleman at reception, thanks for the oranges!! They were lovely. Room was as described. Nice to have two separate bedrooms instead of a bed in the lounge. Beds were comfy and nice linen. Plenty of towels. Fridge nice and big, with a freezer. Nice generous sized couches and dining furniture, nice not to be squished up. Really clean. Safe parking area. Laundry on site, (we didn't use it but nice to know it was there). Info sheets easy to understand and informative, thank you for not over-complicating the instructions for the TV!!!!

Central location. Totally the best place to stay for the annual jazz and blues festival. Park there, then walk and take the ferry to Russell. No need to drive. Super friendly and fun staff, well run, clean. Really good value all round.

Notwithstanding BOI is a summer destination I went in winter. I dressed for the winterless north so I felt cold during the country wide cold snap. Totally my own fault but I must say one small fan heater did not cut it for those conditions.

Amazing location, super close to everything and wonderful staff.

We booked a budget family room so it could accommodate our family of 5 and while it was great value for money, there were a few small things that would have made a big difference - ie a coffee plunger that allows you to make more than 1 cup of coffee at a time. The bathroom was very tired.
