A beautiful home away from home

The breakfast was fantastic. It was also very refinely served in a beautiful front room of the property. There was also a lot of variety.

For German drivers the property is difficult to find with the navigator. We were told to follow the SS55 in the Direction Premeno. If this is done, there is no difficulty in finding this beautiful property.

Excellent B&B in a beautiful, quiet location with a nice view over the lake. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast in the garden and the restaurant serves great food. Free parking is within walking distance.

On arrival, it was not easy for us to find the location (tip: don't use GPS). To get to Verbania/Intra, especially at night, you need to go by car.

Wonderful experience in a lovely surrounding - phantastic cuisine!

A phantastic place with an amazing view from the rooms (and the lovely garden) to the Lake Maggiore (the bay of Intra/Verbania and the Borromean Islands in the background and further down Anghera). Our room (I think to remember it was "Rossini"), was nicely furnitured and very clean. But first and foremost we went because of the well renowned cuisine and we weren't dissappointed at all. We enjoyed a truly divine dinner with phantastic wines from the Piemont. Since we're not very familiar with piemontese wines, we relied on the suggestions from the charming service person which was a very good decision. Next morning we also had breakfast and I enjyoed the "scrumbled eggs with bacon" of my life! The bacon was crisp, tasty and perfectly grilled and the consistence of the scrumbled egg was just WOOOOW. The weather (we stayed early september) was still lovely and so we had the opportunity to have also breakfast in the lovely garden. Everything was home made and simply phantastic. We were thrilled by the whole experience and our expectations were more than fulfilled. It was our first stay at Locanda Ghi Ghinn - but for sure not our last. Thank you again for the hospitality to the whole Chi Ghinn Team, it was phantastic to stay with you!

Ist zwar rustikal eingerichtet, ist aber Charmant. Die Aussicht beim Frühstücken ist sagenhaft, braucht aber schönes Wetter.

Leider wurde uns im Vorfeld nicht mitgeteilt, das es abgesehen vom Frühstück, keine Essen gibt. Wir auf der Seite leider so nicht kommuniziert. Wir mussten jedesmal nach Verbania fahren. Sehr schade.

La sympathie et le professionnalisme du gérant qui parlait en plus parfaitement Français. La vue était superbe, le petit déjeuner délicieux et les chambres très propres.

Le parking n’est pas juste à côté, mais c’est ce qui rend aussi l’expérience authentique car nous devons passer par les petites ruelles.

Hôtel perché sur les pentes du lac majeur avec une vue époustouflante, dans un village éloigné de 15 minutes en voiture des bords du lac. Le personnel fort sympathique est efficace et nous a donné plein de bons conseils (rando, visites, restaurants ...), le petit déjeuner très bon.

L'hotel est dans un village assez éloigné des bords du lac et de l'animation ce qui nécessite de faire de la route de montagne pour quoi que ce soit.

Un acceuil très sympathique : "l'Hôte " est venu nous chercher.au parking du village ,(délicate attention), la maison se situe dans une très petite ruellle , à l'accès difficile en voiture.... ( il parle le français ) il nous a donné de très bons conseils pour la visite des îles Borromée, et...pour un bon restaurant !! Propreté exemplaire ... Vue exceptionnelle ... Petit déjeuner raffiné sous une tonnelle la maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût , couleurs chaudes , bel escalier

Le matelas est un peu dur !!! impossible de prendre un repas dans le village , obligation de ressortir en voiture à Verbania ...4,5kms Si l'on et fatigué , ou arrivé tardivement ....prévoir un sandwich dans sa valise !!!

La seule critique, mais de taille: l’accès en voiture est très difficile car ruelles très étroites et dangereuses. Un véhicule de grande taille aura du mal à accéder à la zone réservée au déchargement des bagages.

Cet établissement est juste exceptionnel , la vue est à couper le souffle , des chambres et de la terrasse . L’hôtelier parle très bien français et il est vraiment aux petits soins de ses pensionnaires . Les chambres sont très grandes et confortables. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

Parkeren is een dingetje, neem niet te veel bagage mee want dat wordt sjouwen! Jammer dat het restaurant dicht was, nu iets moeten zoeken en dat is dan niet op loopafstand zodat je met de auto moet

Die ruhig Lage, mit dem herrlichen Blick auf den See. Die Freundlichkeit des Besitzers und des Personals. Der gute Zustand von Zimmer und Bad, der kleine Balkon…

Kann hier nichts anführen, außer, dass die Telefonnummer/Kontakt in Booking com nicht stimmt und dass die Zufahrt besser erklärt werden sollte, denn ist es sehr einfach das Hotel zu erreichen
