Very central

It’s just pretend. The staff wear white gloves but the food is terrible, not to mention the coffee! The bedroom had chandlers with dead insects in it! Anyway, it just that kind of place that is posh but not good quality.

Beautiful hotel from around 1900. Sauna works well. Nice experience, but we will not come back.

The traumatic experience of putting something in the fridge and then a few hours later you discover a piece of paper informing you that if you move anything in the fridge you will be charged for what You moved, and If You put sth extra they will charged You 5 euros. I didn't sleep half the night, i was shocked. Scandal. Breakfast looks impressive, but tastes much worse. Plastic flowers. No mineral water, kettle, glasses in the room, scandal too.

The room is cramped. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. The bathroom was terrible. Only a very high bathtub. One gad to be very careful while getting into snd out of it. The washbasin was very small. The drinking glasses, which were placed on the basin, were always soaking wet. There was no soap dish, and the soap was always soggy and sticking to the basin.

An impressive historic building in an excellent location, with potential. The pool and spa areas are pleasant and inviting, and the poolside staff and bar team were kind and attentive.

The rooms are outdated, worn, and tired — small and cramped, with a tiny, uncomfortable shower. The toilet was leaking and remained unfixed despite reporting it to the staff. The beds and mattresses are uncomfortable and urgently need upgrading. The reception staff were unfriendly and impatient, giving the impression that guests are a nuisance. We did not receive the room we had booked, despite prior correspondence and written confirmation. There was clearly no communication between staff members. Later, we were told it was too late and that things would be handled in the morning — but that never happened either. Breakfast was mediocre and uninspired, lacking variety and fresh vegetables. There were no live stations, and everything seemed pre-prepared - some items were reheated, others served cold. Breakfast ends at 10:00, even on weekends, which feels more like an airport lounge than a vacation experience.

Beautiful lake view art nouveau hotel

Regina Palace is a beautiful, art nouveau hotel, it’s like stepping back in time with lovely antique furniture and grand chandeliers. Its position overlooking the lake is perfect. We walked to and from the hotel from the train station which is a straightforward route, 600 metres away. On early arrival (to store our luggage) we were extremely pleased and grateful for an early check in and also a room upgrade to an elegant lake view room with a balcony and view. Our room was enormous, extremely clean, with both a bath and shower. All the staff were extremely pleasant and very happy to assist. The breakfast is simply amazing and the location is superb, we sat looking out onto the lake which was perfect. The wellness area, grotto and pool was beautifully warm and so relaxing. We had a perfect stay and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending and returning for a longer stay.

Excellent stay in Stresa, elegant, optimum lake front location with views of the islands.

Dramatically elegent old style hotel, with beautiful frontage and gardens in an ideal location in Stresa. There are fabulous lake and sunset views from the front balconied elevation. The breakfasts and the dining location are superb. There is an excellent spa with indoor pool and saunas and treatment facilities. Hugely spacious and free underground parking is available for guests below the beautiful rear gardens and outdoor pool.

The room service for any food at all, stops at 11pm, and as we arrived at 11pm, this was inconvenient. However, in a hurry a gift of a nuts and crisps bowl was helpfully provided.

Excellent stay in Stresa!

It was a lovely place to stay if you want to feel like you have been transported to 1920!Beautiful hotel!We had a lovely view of the lake from our room,very small shower(in the bath shower),within walking distance to the ferry landing and old town square.Could not get a table for dinner during our stay,but the breakfast was nice.Pool area also nice and the lunch we had there was good.Parking on the premise..great because parking is a problem in Stresa..Bed was nice and big..we had a good sleep.

I have no complaints!Just wondering why the pool water was so cold while it was mid summer and very hot! Nobody wanted to swim!
