I would avoid this place in future

The room got a lot of light and the young man at the reception was very kind and welcoming

1. The room was extremely cold, the temperature outside was as low as -14C and the heating was below any logical minimum. I understand the need for energy saving, but this was just too much! 2. The room was clean during the check-in, but the towels had a wierd and pretty unleasant smell. During my 5 days of stay, they did not change the towels even once; 3. On Monday morning the breakfast finished at 7:30am! However, the booking information as well as the notice on the room door said it should have lasted until 9am. There were three of us that showed up at around 7:20am and we were not allowed to sit and have a quick bite, instead the lady told us to collect some food and take it to our rooms; this was very awkward 4. There is no elevator in the building and the stairs are very steep and slippery.

The owner is very friendly, speaks very good English. They also own a restaurant, which we did not know, otherwise we would have had dinner there. Breakfast is great. Free parking, clean and big rooms. They do not have elevator, which was not a problem for us. We spent one night because we wanted to see Trier on our way to France, and visit Karl Marx Haus and the amazing Porta Negro. Wonderful trip overall.

The lady on reception was very helpful and informative. The rooms were clean and breakfast was sufficient. The location was not far from restaurants and there were buses to take you to the town if required. We walked down to the river and into town that way. The area seemed safe. There was also secure parking free of charge.

Cannot really criticize anything under the circumstances of covid 19. Everyone was trying their best.

Man bekommt hier wirklich viel für sein Geld

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr ruhig am Stadtrand aber sehr gut angebunden durch Bus und Bahn, für mich perfekt! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber (ohne Teppich!) und modern, das Bett bequem und die Dusche sehr gut. Das Frühstück hat mich tatsächlich positiv überrascht, viel Auswahl für den Preis. Die Mitarbeitenden waren alle sehr freundlich und haben sich sehr darum bemüht, den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel Schütz sehr empfehlen, ich hätte dort auch gut noch länger ausgehalten...

Zimmer war ok, Bett in Ordnung, Frühstück war nichts besonderes aber ausreichend.

Das Restaurant war leider geschlossen, Hatte mich auf die Speisekarte gefreut. War dann um die Ecke beim Italiener essen das war sehr gut.

Prettig en ontspannen met zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Zeer vriendelijk en efficiënt personeel. Meedenkend en service aanbieden. Omdat het restaurant niet open was, een waterkoker meegekregen voor op de kamer. Kamer werd heel netjes bijgehouden.

Teleurstelling dat het restaurant wegens omstandigheden gesloten was. Had gehoopt hier minimaal 2 keer te kunnen eten.

Das Zimmer war teilweise renoviert. Das hotel lag außerhalb von Trier Mitte. Parkplatz Angebot war ausreichend. Mitarbeiter vor ort5 hilfsbereit.

Das Zimmer war renoviert. Teilbereiche wie Decke des Bades sehr stark vergilbt und es gab Roststelle. Die Schränke waren nicht erneuert worden, so daß moderne Gesamtbild leider damit runter gezogen wurde. Das Frühstück war Standart nix besonderes. Bei meiner Nachfrage nach einem Rührei wurde das verneint. Es gab kein Brot nur zwei Sorten von Brötchen.

Wat me het meest beviel: duidelijk dat het voor 1 keer was, en NOOIT meer. Het ontbijt werd tijdig bijgevuld. Het komen en vooral het gaan!

ALLES. Op zondag, niet eens een koffiekoekje. Een lange smalle donkere kamer met een bed waar ik de vering van de matras letterlijk voelde, ik werd zeker 5x wakker van de pijn. Voor 90 euro verwacht ik toch iets beters!

Der Preis war für Trierer Verhältnisse günstig. Das Frühstück war dem Preis angemessen.

Unpersönliches Check-In. Der Parkplatz war voll, wenn man abends zu spät zurückkam. Das Ambiente im Früstücksraum war nicht besonders einladend.

Sober en simpel ingerichte hotel

Nette frisse slaapkamers, handdoeken en shampoo werden om de dag vernieuwd. Eten was sober maar lekker. Restaurant was niet open, maar ze hadden ons al per mail netjes restaurants in de buurt (op loop afstand) opgegeven waar we kondend eten. Ontbijten kon wel in het restaurantje erg gezellige inrichting.. Het was een klein lekker ontbijtbuffet. Welke tussen 6u00 en 9u00 genuttigd kon worden. Om 9u15 sluit het restaurant weer. Het ontbijt kon je kiezen uit. 6 soorten vleeswaren, kaas, jam, honing, pindakaas, smeerworst en wmeerkaas, yoghurt, versfruit (appels en bananen) musli en gekookt eitje en 2 soorten broodjes waar je uit kon kiezen (wit en bruin met zaden), koffie thee, melk en sinaasappelsap. Het was met zorg weggelegd en gemaakt en netjes geregeld. Even je kamernummer doorgeven aan degene die het ontbijt verzorgde.

Helaas voelden we de spiralen door de matrassen heen en was er niemand bij de receptie, alleen bij inchecken. Wel heel vriendelijk stond ze ons te woord in het Duits, Engels of Frans als we wilden. De tuin is echt aan renovatie toe, verwaarloosd oud en dode planten al zouden ze de plantenbakken vol met viooltjes of hortensia's zetten dan zou het gelijk al gezelliger ogen, wat spinnewebben weghalen, tegel die eruit zijn opvullen met wat cement, zou al veel helpen, want in princiepe is het mooi, appart en speels aangelegd. Restaurantje er gezellig leuk nostalgisch ingericht, welke helaas jiet open was en we daar niet konden avond eten. Ook daar is er personeels tekort.

Gaststätte geschlossen, Mobiliar veraltet, Garten zugewuchert, Polster außen verdreckt oder fehlt, Haus ist Baustelle. Vermutlich nur 4 Zimmer gebucht worden. Da will jemand noch Geld aus Hotel ziehen, was kein Hotel mehr ist.

Jó fekvésü, kiváló kiindulási pont a kirándulásokhoz.

A szállás átépítés alatt van. De az újonnan kialakított szobák nagyok, kényelmesek, erkéllyel ellátottak. A város szélén van, de a belváros gyorsan megközelíthető. Jó svédasztalos reggelivel. Jó ár-érték aránnyal. Csendes városszéli szobák.

Sajnos a régi Gasthaus még nincs teljesen átépítve, így a régi giccses darabok még láthatóak a kertben, de az új irány igéretes.
