If you want a very basic place for a decently pried.

Decently priced and staff was kind enough to let us check in later because our plane arrived late.

Pretty basic place, but the towels were like sand paper.

Good hotel with the own parking not far from the city center

Hotel is situated in 15 walking to the city center. It's convinient that they have a small parking which you have to book with host.

I think that the room is somewhat overpriced

Nice Hotel with hiking distance to town

Breakfast was good. A bit old fashioned but every thing worked fine. Restaurants were located close by.

Walking distance to town was about 25 minutes so if you wanted some thing else to eat than German food it would take and hour back and forth.

The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was amazing! The family room is very spacious.

Room was fine, location is fine, shower was good

Check-in was gruff (no words of welcome). We were very disappointed - and greatly inconvenienced - that they would not store our luggage for the day when we checked out

We had a very enjoyable visit to Trier.

It is in a good location as we don't mind walking into the town and it meant we could park our car at the hotel. The hotel room was of a good size and nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of foods from cold meats and fish, to cereals and fruit and fresh bread and cakes.

The lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room meant we had to buy drinks at local cafés, something we didn't always want to do.

Very reasonably priced and a great place to sleep while staying in Trier.

They advertise as a “budget” hotel and I appreciate that they are very honest about what to expect … we almost didn’t stay here because we thought maybe it was too low budget based on the description but we are so glad we did. The staff was excellent, the room was very clean and serviced each day. The bed was comfortable and my husband is 6’2”. There was a fan in the room which really helped circulate the summer temperatures.

Superb location, close to the Mosel Cycle Path and a short walk from Trier Altstadt. Good facilities, excellent breakfast, very helpful staff. We were able to park our cycle in a secure, locked garage.

Great value hotel close to shops , restaurants , bars and sites of interest .

This was my second stay at Hotel Am Ufer , as before the breakfast was really good , the rooms are very clean and spacious and the owners are friendly and very helpful . Free parking is great , the Porta Nigra is about a 10min walk and the Moselle river is even closer . I would definetly stay here

Kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Eingang, ein sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Inhaber, ein geräumiges Zimmer und ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit großer Auswahl und sicherlich mehr als ausreichend. Zur Porta Nigra und in die Trierer Innenstadt sind es etwa fünfzehn Minuten zu Fuß.

Auf dem inneren Ring vor dem Hotel herrschte recht viel Verkehr. Selbstverständlich kann der Gastgeber aber nichts daran ändern, daher gibt es eigentlich nichts Negatives zu berichten.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt vollkommen in Ordnung

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, sehr reichhaltig ( mit Lachs, frischem Obst, verschiedenen Brötchen und Broten…)Lage war gut, wir konnten alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen, auch wenn es teilweise etwas weiter weg war. .

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur sehr befahrenen Straße hin. Mit geschlossenen Fenstern war es in Ordnung. Man konnte nur nicht mit gekippten Fenstern schlafen. Bei der Dusche fehlten unten Dichtungen oder es ist ein Konstruktionsfehler? Es lief beim Duschen immer Wasser ins Bad. Der Check in ist nur bis 18:00 Uhr möglich.

Das Hotel liegt Fußläufig zur Altstadt und zur Mosel das ist natürlich sehr schön.

Das Frühstück, das wir noch nachbestellt hatten, hat unsere Erwartung voll übertroffen. Es war alles vorhanden was man sich vorstellen kann.

Sehr gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück top, gute Lage um alles zu erkunden. Garage um die Fahrräder unterzustellen, kostenloser Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Kneipen und Restaurant am Moselufer ein Tipp vom Hotelchef zum empfehlen. Mit den Fahrrädern gleich am Moselradweg

Ein wunderbares gemütliches Hotel

Ich mochte das Hotel, das Zimmer ist sauber und geräumig. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett. Das Frühstück ist gut für 10 Euro, jeder wird etwas zu essen finden.

Es wäre toll, wenn das Zimmer einen Kühlschrank (auch einen kleinen) und einen Wasserkocher hätte, weil man abends im Zimmer Tee trinken möchte.

We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad, goed kunnen slapen en heerlijk ontbeten.

De accommodatie is super schoon, alles blinkt! Het ontbijt is werkelijk super! Echt alles wat je nodig hebt is er en super vers!

Het meubilair ziet er niet zo modern uit, maar dat maakt het ook wel heel leuk.
