Other than the uncomfortable pillows, which we used our own from our van, it is a lovely hotel in a very nice location.

Good parking, good location to get to Trier. Excellent bathroom.

The only problem was the pillows on the bed were next to useless and there was only one per person.

Our stay was poor. The woman was unpleasant. The smell of the room was awful. The location-lousy.

Free parking and the breakfast was fine.

Our room smelled like sewage. We had checked in early afternoon and the smell of the room was awful. The woman came smelled it and suggested opening the window. I asked to change rooms and she said they were full. It was before 4:00 pm and I refuse to believe all other guests had arrived. There were only 18 cars in the parking lot. I asked if they served gluten free for meals and she rolled her eyes and said she would have to check. It was like I was putting her out, when she had just been standing at the bar. The location was a 45 minute walk from all of the restaurants. The carpets were filthy. It was the worst stay of our 18 day trip. Would not recommend at all.

Peaceful location

Comfy beds. Lovely shower room. Lovely quiet location. View of trees and a small pond with ducks. Electric car charger close by. Plenty of shelves.

No fans provided. It was hot during our stay. Fortunately we'd brought a little fan with us which we used all evening and night.

A nice hotel in the woods on top of the cliff

The staff was very welcoming, the hotel is located in the woods and it gives a special atmosphere. There was a good breakfast. The room and the bathroom were spacious. Every day I had a new bottle of sparkling water. The hotel also sells its wine which was very nice. Nice views when you walk to the hotel (up the hill). Everywhere it is clean and well organized.

The hotel is located on the top of the cliff, so if you do not drive and do not like walking up the hill better find another accommodation. There is one bus 14 going there from Trier but it does not run on Saturdays and Sundays. If you walk it is around 30 min to the center of Trier and 45 min to the railway station. The pillow was really awful. There was no day curtain so you are a bit exposed.

Excellent

A nice and calm hotel. Great staff, very friendly. The breakfast was good, as expected. We also decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and we didn't regret it, because it was excellent.

The only thing I can think of is slow wi-fi. Also, some people won't like the location (if you intend to explore Trier), but its quite peaceful with a forest nearby.

Nice and quiet stay!

The location was good, too far to walk to the city but with the car it was only 5 minutes. We had a quiet room (on the lowest floor all the way at the end). The staff was kind, the food was good (we got a huge salat with bread and fries with the schnitzel). Breakfast was also quite good, fresh bread and juices. The shower was big. We had a nice quiet stay!

There was no soap anymore. And maybe it’s an idea to put mosquito screens in the windows, we were terrorised in the night by mosquitos because we left the window open for fresh air. The bed was a bit unstable but the mattress was comfy. There was no mini fridge or tea and if you’re on the lowest floor you can hear footsteps from above.

The stay was beyond expectations, in particular the tranquility

It is a quite place in the woods, and I slept well. The single room was furnished in a functional way (writing desk, easy chair, nice view, TV, alarm clock) and clean. Douche and WC had ample of space. The staff is obliging. I loved the gemuese curry and bitburger for diner. Recommendable.

The location in a walking distance from the city center but very nice and quiet in the green, with a big terrace which was nice because it was like 28 degrees. Nice cold room and great bathroom, with a really good shower. A good hotel for the price.

A charger for an electrical car would have been nice.

Good base to visit the historic part of the city by bus and easy access to motorway

Friendly helpful staff and good facilities. Opportunity to have an evening meal plus bar with a late check out the following day. Comfortable bed and good sized room.
