Good location

Towels were old and not enough. Also lacking pillows. Asked for more pillows and said they did not have anymore. When pressed on the issue, they found 2 more.

Great place to stay in Trier.

Perfect location in the heart of Trier just a short walk from the Porta Nigra and Cathedral. Good sized room with lots of space which isn't as typical for European hotel rooms. On site parking was a bonus. This was our second time staying here and it's the only place we'll stay when we visit Trier.

Location is awesome and facilities are uber clean

Location and cleanliness were great. Overall happy with the stay. Staff was friendly but only one person in the lobby (never saw two people there during our stay). Being so close to the Christmas markets was key for us and Ibis didn’t disappoint there.

Checkin process needs some work. The lobby layout is more like an office than a hotel checkin. Had two people in front of me and it took almost 30 minutes to get my room key. The parking is tight and very difficult to navigate. Lastly, the provided pillows are terrible. Maybe an inch thick. We ended up buying pillows at a store a block away.

Great location in a historic courtyard. Soundproof windows , quiet room.

Very bare bones facilities. Bedding felt rough and didn’t smell very fresh. Couldn’t open the windows due to the noisy courtyard. No glasses in the room. Quality of breakfast food not up to the price we paid for the room.

Perfect launch pad for a road trip from Germany to Belgium

A very central location that was very handy for all the major tourist sites and restaurants. We popped back regularly and it was very good quality with real character too. It had been themed with Roman pictures and quotations and the building itself is converted from a former post office and has magnificent rooms with high ceilings. The breakfast was incredibly good, too.

Awesome location in the heart of Trier

Stay: April 22 to 23 2024. Location, location, location!!! If you are driving into Trier, look no further. With a parking lot onsite and being steps from the heart of the city center, this Ibis is a no brainer (let them know you are coming by car). The hotel is modern, the rooms are very cool, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast variety is great and plentiful, allowing you to fill up for the day and carry on with your visit to this interesting city. Note: our rate considers a hotel that fits a on the go traveler's budget, with no indulgences like those offered by top notch and expensive full-service hotels.

Like in many hotels we visit, a night light in the bathroom was missing. Those are good to have in case the guests need for a bio-stop in the early hours of the morning when everything is still dark, and you wake up not really knowing where you are. Those lights would prevent the use of main lights throughout the night. The breakfast area was a bit busy with a few business travelers, but the staff handles things quite well.

No faulting this hotel!

What a super hotel, modern, swish and great location. Rooms are airy and it was very clean. Bathroom was well appointed with a great walk in wet room shower. Lovely touch with complimentary tea, coffee and fruit in the foyer. Breakfast was a really well stocked buffet and staff were attentive. Parking was secure and really good value for the city. A fantastic pizza restaurant just outside the hotel which offered amazing pizzas.

Amazing location and value for money with a great breakfast!

Everything about Ibis Styles Trier was amazing - the location was superb (in e courtyard of a lovely refurbished historic building) - right in the middle of the old Roman city and easily accessible to the sites of interest. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in a hotel and the cost of the room extremely reasonable. Plus the staff were very helpful.

The wifi did not work well at all and when we told the staff on leaving, they were very apologetic and assured us they would be addressing the issue - plus, they opened up the drinks vending machine to give us a compensatory bottle!

wonderful city but uncomfortable hotel for sleeping multiple days

location, big sized bathroom

the room was facing rhe court yard which was very loud. the restaurant on the ground floor had outdoor seating too. also the music traveled through the walls up to the second floor. room cleaning was minimal. also there are no sitting options for two in the room. no usb charging available.
