Lovely, classy hotel.

Super comfortable room. Excellent shower facilities and a great breakfast.

It was a little too warm in the night and I couldn’t figure out how to lower the temperature.

Too short a stay!

The staff were super friendly. Location was great. Beds comfortable. Water pressure in shower good. They have a sauna on sight which is a lovely bonus. It’s 6.50 euro per person to use but definitely worth it.

No fridge in room or coffee machine. No shower cap.

Comfortable stay in the center of Trier

The parking was very convenient and not too expensive. Breakfast was good, I liked the fact that they had plant based milks. Sauna was relaxing and clean. All staff were great.

The pillows were a little flat, not a huge issue.

Exceeded expectations

Location was really good, but we loved the style of the hotel..very Hegge...beautiful plants and succulents everywhere, lovely art on the walls. Really interesting to have the romantic history of the hotel featured including artefacts. Also offered local wines for purchase. Easy parking. Really practical room facilities. We were envious of the rooms that had balconies. Breakfast was solid.

Fantastic location to old town

We walked to the hotel from the train station—totally doable in about 25 minutes—but taxis are inexpensive, and we took one back when it rained. The location is excellent, just across the street from the old town. The building with our room was keycard-access only, which made it feel very secure. The beds were comfortable, and there was a kettle along with a welcome box containing cocoa, instant coffee, sugar, and more. They also offered us a bottle of Riesling, which would be lovely to enjoy at the outdoor tables (glasses are available near reception). Since we were heading out, they kindly offered train drinks instead. The room was perfectly adequate for the three of us and our luggage, and the bathroom was clean and modern. Breakfast was in a large, lovely room, and had choice of coffee drinks, juice, tea, several yogurts, many types of cereal, scrambled and boiled eggs (fried upon request), lunch meats, breads, jams, butter and a toaster, sausage and bacon and I'm likely forgetting things! It was delicious.

The weather was muggy during our stay, and our room faced a busy street, so it was quite loud with the window open. We didn’t think to ask if fans were available, but in hindsight, that might have helped—nights were a bit uncomfortable without one.

The room was specious, as was the bathroom. There was a separate shower. Breakfast was good, there was enough variety. Location was good, walking distance to the center.

The sofa bed made noise with every movement, so we woke up regularly.

Lovely Hotel close to the old city.

The location was very close to the old city, the room was a good size, the bathroom was spacious and clean. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

The road noise - the warm weather meant we couldn't completely close the window. With the window fully closed, the room is quiet. The shaving mirror in the bathroom was too high to be useful.

Modern, clean, spacious room. Comfortable beds. Bathroom a little small, but adequate. Toiletries provided. Friendly, accommodating staff. 5-10 min walk to Trier centre and 15 min walk to Trier Sud train station.

Excellent location with convenient on-property parking, delicious breakfast, staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel room was quiet and comfortable- had small single bed, but was comfortable and fine for solo traveller. Excellent value for cost

Convenient and comfortable hotel with easy access to Trier sites.

The hotel is situated just on the south side of the old city of Trier, and everything in the old city is easily within walking distance. The room was very nicely arranged, and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and well worth the cost. Hotel room was very clean and quiet.

No aspects of the stay fell short of our expectations.

Great location but not the best value for the money

The location is great. From the hotel you can easily get to all locations in Trier by foot. Also the breakfast is above average. We also got a gift when checking out which I do appreciate

The room had an open shower, so if you don’t travel as a couple be aware that you might be more exposed than you wish for. Also, a few things were broken in the room (TV didn’t work, door had a gap) and you generally feel like there were no upgrades of the room since the 80s. Of cause I can only speak about the room we had, maybe other rooms were in a better condition. We also struggled to connect with WiFi
