Simple hotel in an unbeatable location. Would stay again.

Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and a good size - the location is the real winner, though - and the staff were super helpful.

The automated check in and entrance area can feel a little unwelcoming when the staff have finished for the evening - but it was okay.

Nice and clean hotel at the excellent location

The location is excellent, just in the middle of the city centre. Staff is very helpful and supportive!

Parking is not best. Though you have to book your parking, the lot allocated to us was not suitable for our car. Luckily there was other free space available. But they should check before they give you confirmation, what type of car it is, and assign a suitable lot.

very comfortable stay at a nice and friendly hotel

Room, bathroom and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and good. The hotel was very close to the city centre which is a real plus. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

The rooms we had were sensitive to street noise. Opposite of the street there is a pub which can be very noisy till early in the morning.

Too many frogs. Rather hideous theme including a 1m2 Kermit picture over our bed. I like a bit of fun but this was dated in decor and idea. May be I’m missing something but it’s a bit tired as a hotel, quite 80s-90s. Perfectly adequate though and central with safe although challenging parking!

Okay stay in Trier

Very central location, within walking distance from main Trier sights. Decent room and bed sizes. The doors open with a code, so no need to worry about carrying keys or cards. The AC was good as well.

The room was not very clean. The floors were dusty and my towel had dirt in it. I had to use the small hand towel to dry myself instead. Because there is no 24/7 reception, we couldn't request another towel. The same goes for the hand soap for the sink as the dispenser was empty. On top of it, the room had a faint smell of cigarettes, in spite of being a non-smoking room.

We had a good stay

The distance to the city centre is about 10 mins walk. Close by to restaurants. We checked in late at 1830. The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. We had a room facing the road with traffic noise however we requested for another room which was facing the other side. Lucky enough there was a room available. Thank you !

I stayed at Hotel Aulmann for a solo trip and it couldn’t have been better – it’s right in the pedestrian zone, super central, and ideal for exploring the city on foot. The staff was friendly, the room was just right for one person, and everything was clean and easy. All in all, a no-fuss, comfy stay.

overall very pleasant i would recommand this hotel

The staff was very welcoming and nice. The room was big and clean, it had a clima and even if the hotel was situated in the city i heard no noisyness it was quiet and i had a good night sleep.

I missed the mini bar and the bed was a bit to hard for me but that is just a personal taste

When I booked I didn’t see a parking option. When we arrived, we supposedly couldn’t book it separately. So, we had to use a public parking garage that was quite far away

Instructions for finding and using the underground car park were confusing and unclear. The shower had a miserable flow and no shower gel or soap provided.

Highly recommended. Interesting decor and comfortable stay

I went to run the trier half marathon which coincided with the stadtfestival. The street was very loud but thankfully our room had an ac and we could shut the windows and sleep like a baby. The staff spoke English, was very accommodating, and let us check out late. Room was clean and comfortable for a one night stay.

Disappointing

Room was clean and hotel was located close to city center. Facilities and breakfast was good. Parking garage was perfectly located just under the hotel.

SO MUCH NOISE. Door to reception banging shut everytime another drunk guest got home. Lots of drunk guest coming home and being noisy in the hallways. Kept us awake a lot during the night.

The location was amazing but I wasn't able to sleep on both nights. I could hear folks screaming outside as they were inside the room.. it's great for young people who want to party all night :-) but overall a nice hotel with a great location.
