From Vienna to The Vienna

Very good businessn travel option in Trier.

The accommodation is connected to the venue where I have attended a conference and this made the location perfect. We walked to the city center and to the vineyards close by. Parking is available and the location is very quiet. Rooms were very clean and daily cleaning was well done.

Additional services provided are kept at a minimum. Drinking water is provided at the reception which is a good thing, it worked out very well. On the other hand the room is not equipped with a kettle and heated water can't be provided by the hotel unless you buy tea. I found this very frustrating for a 4 * hotel. Even if it's not mandatory to provide a kettle, it is a clear feeling that everything is kept at minimum. We tried to turn on the AC, but the cold air was not functioning. We stayed with the window open and it was fine.

Great staff and location; limited parking

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Parking garage accessible by elevator from the hotel very practical. A few bikes were available for guests, free of charge. Otherwise, it was an easy 10-minute walk the historic city center.

Only 4 bikes available. Limited parking spaces in the garage, which were not reservable. Best to arrive early and try to get a space. Narrow parking spaces. Didn't feel breakfast was worth the price - found it better to go to town and eat there.

Mixed Bag

Super cute lobby. The breakfast is killer! Bus lines right across the street. There is a walking path just about 100 meters away off the street with a babbling brook, lovely gardens and a wonderful little Biergarten that I visited twice. Near the Imperial Baths and Amphitheater.

My room was clammy e en in hot, full sun days. The water temperature was inconsistent in the shower. Internet was weak and kicked me out constantly. It really was located a bit far from most of the things I wanted to see.

Good

Good hotel close to the river and sight seeing areas in the old town. We enjoyed breakfast and that there were free bikes you could use to explore around the city.

The AC didn’t work properly - we asked someone to come look at it, and they did, but it was never resolved. This wouldn’t have been such a big issue except we were there during a heat wave so it was hard to get a good night’s sleep.

Perfect location and space for an overnight stay

Great location, just a stroll to old town, large spacious room, good air con, free on-site parking. Perfect for an overnight stay. No fridge but wasn’t an issue for one night. Would highly recommend.

A very nice hotel with comfortable rooms, a great breakfast and located a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Trier. We stayed here on the last night of a long weekend away in Germany. It was a very nice stay, the staff were very nice and accommodating and welcoming. The underground car park was safe and secure and linked directly to the hotel which was very good. Breakfast was great with plenty of options available. A great start to a day exploring Trier and the surrounding area.

We didn’t find anything that we didn’t like during our stay at the hotel.

Location is good, not far from city center, friendly staff, room is big and clean. Have a car park at basement, can take the lift directly up to hotel lobby. Parking cost 9 Euro per night, but it's really convenience and secure.
