Comfortable traditional hotel with very good food.

Characterful hotel located on the outskirts of Trier with onsite parking. Comfortable bedroom. En suite with a walk in shower. Swimming pool. Very good quality & choice of food for dinner & breakfast.

Nice rooms with balconies, very helpfull staff

Large room with a very large balcony. There are multiple choices for restaurants inside. Nice bathroom. A very nice balcony with chairs.

The entrance to the parking was hard to find, although it is indicated. Parking lot was 99% full so.it was hard to find a space. You typically cannot turn around in this lot so tricky reversing is required. I was advised by staff that as it was Saturday night and the restaurants are full,.therefore a lot of the parking is taken.

Fabulous hotel, a step back in time , tasteful decor spacious quality bedroom. Leisure facilities very relaxing. The restaurant was great, the food & staff excellent very accommodating , again quality throughout .

Pleasant with good restaurant and service!

The rooms are pleasant, the beds the pretty good, extended breakfast buffet was very nice. Really good dinner and it was great to be able to dine outside on the terrace! Free parking on the hotel grounds is always a big plus these days!

I missed a softening topper on the bed - that would have been the icing on the cake. Beyond that, no complaints.

The staff and the breakfast and dinner were outstanding.

It gets a bit hot to sleep with those massive duvet covers. A cooler option would be nice. Also you can hear people walking across the floor loudly from above.

Good hotel, restaurant service lacking

Lovely hotel and comfy rooms. Good parking for motorcycles.

Restaurant was very unorganised. As we were residents were told at reception no need to book and just give our name/room number when we came down for dinner - by which time there were no tables inside. We proceeded outside and found a table. Sat down ordered drinks to then he told the table was reserved. Moved table again to finally be served.

Nice large room with a good bed. Very good dinner in the hotel courtyard. Private free parking at the hotel. Nice pool and spa area.

Very poor WIFI internet in our room. The extra bed (sofa bed) for our daughter was hard and not suitable for adults. The area is too far from city centre to be walking there.

Loved it.

Stuff was super friendly and very helpful. Everything was extremely clean (and we do have high standards on that topic). Rooms have very cozy vibe. Sauna & swimming pool were actually better than expected.

Wi-Fi is not the strongest. We used the restaurant twice - once to get coffee in the evening (there is no kettle in the room, which for as was a minus) and second time for dinner. Each time took forever to get it.

The hotel itself is beautiful. It has a classic style but still feels very modern. The standard rooms could use an update and do not match the quality of the interior in the rest of the hotel

The spa could do with clothing guidelines. It wasn't clear if the sauna was to be used with or without bathing suit, so it was an uncomfortable mix.

Best place in Trier to stay if you want great food and a cosy and comfortable place to stay

The food in the hotel is amazing! Very hearty and lavish breakfast. Excellent German food in the restaurant. Great Schnitzel, duck and fillet. The restaurant is super cosy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved being there and felt very well looked after.

I loved everything about this property. It was my favorite place that I stayed on a three week trip.

The hotel had an old world charm. It was outside of the city center core, but that didn't matter. The interior was beautiful. And the spa was lovely. And the restaurant was amazing. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The pool was closed for renovation. I also would have liked to use the steam room in the morning.
