Clean, comfortable, perfectly located, and with efficient and friendly staff. The restaurant (Plaza Grill) serves an excellent steak, and a ditto breakfast.

Outdated hotel in nice location

Location was excellent in old city centre

I was expecting more from a 4 star hotel. One of beds was really old and we ended up sleeping on it 1 night each because we couls not bear more. We also indicated this but the only thing that vould be done was flip the matress well if its this worn out it really does not matter which way its lying. With my allergies the room was already a challenge with the carpet and everything. It was dusty and outdated.

Smell of urine in bathroom, loud AC. The room itself was clean, but when we came in the window was open and in the night we understood why - it was super smelly. Too expensive for what you get.

Superb central hotel

Excellent location close to the centre of town. Parking is very easy as the car park is attached to the hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was peaceful.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting a good hotel in the City Centre

This is a great hotel in an excellent location with a car park underneath. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional, and also very friendly. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The hotel is well situated for the City Centre attractions (Porta Nigra, Museum, Cathedral etc).

In walking distance to the city’s many attractions, friendly and capable staff, nice restaurant. We also loved the Roman touch ( carpet, room with museum object). AC.

Not enough suitable wall sockets: charging a phone became a challenge. Also, one elevator was broken, which didn’t matter so much , being on the first floor.

I will not choose this otel once again.

Desk staff were very rude and not gentle. They want to charge two guests price more but I paid it when I did booking. They said they could not see 4 person only seeing two person amount for my reservation. After I contacted booking.com guest service team then they said okay. They are not professional.

Enjoyable and comfortable hotel right in the middle of Trier.

The hotel is located right in the centre with all places of interest within walking distance. We parked in the public parking under the hotel which was very convenient (but quite pricey) Staff was very friendly, the hotel has a nice lobby and the breakfast area and buffet were enjoyable.

Lovely hotel at the edge of the walking district.

The breakfast had many selections and was very good. The beds were comfortable. The staff, though, was the best part of the stay. Our rental car bricked itself in the parking garage and the staff went above/beyond to help us out by allowing us to check out later, helping out with directions to the rental station to get a new car, giving helpful advice for things to see in Trier. Special shoutout to Maja at the front desk.

Something trivial: The shower stall design wasn't the greatest and the floor of the bathroom got quite wet.

No direct public transport from Trier to luxembourg airport after 9.30 am . A shuttle bus to luxembourg airport from hotel (even once a day might be a good idea)

Nice location but strong smells

The location was perfect for a day of walking around Trier. The parking was conventient, and the staff were very helpful and nice.

If you have any sensitivty to smell, avoid this place like the plague. The normal rooms use some air freshener that I found difficult to breathe at all. I could not even stand in the room. I checked two rooms to be sure. At this point they were nice enough to offer me an allergy room. Great, no air freshener. However, they still use the same laundry, and the sheets use either a perfumed detergent or fabric softener. It really comes out when you are trying to sleep. I understand there are people in the world who think everything should be perfumed. Congratulations for you, this is a great place. For those of us who can't tolerate overwhelming smells, this is a pass. We actually shortened our stay from two nights to one just to get away from it.

Exceptional

We arrived 2.5 hours before check-in time at this conveniently located modern hotel and got given a room straight away. The room was spacious as a standard room, very clean and comfortable. The people working there were all friendly. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection of warm dishes and cold cuts; they even had a bottle of sparkling wine as part of the buffet.

Great stay in the heart of the city.

Great location right in the centre of the city, close walking distance from the main attractions as well as travel links. Room was super clean and tidy with a comfortable bed and large wardrobe. Late check out as standard was a huge plus for me too.

This is a tiny niggle but there wasn't a plug socket near to the bed which meant my phone, quick is also my alarm and entertainment system whilst away, could only be charged away from the bed.
