Beautiful old mansion just outside Avignon. Room was clean but a little basic if you compare the exterior of the property with inside. Luckily had an AC which was amazing considering there’s a heatwave in France right now.
We were only there for 1 night - we arrived at 6.30pm and left the following morning at around 10am. The restaurant had closed for the summer but luckily there is a lovely barge literally moored up over the road from the auberge so you can walk over and have some delicious french style charcuterie etc and drinks. If the barge wasn’t there, we’d have to drive into town.
