Very happy with our choice of hotel in Avignon

The hotel was in an excellent location just next door to the railway station and a short walk through the outer wall to the tourist office and town. The room was very spacious, clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed. There was plenty of room to spread out, a good cupboard for clothing storage and a convenient fridge. The bathroom was spacious and clean and good water pressure in the shower. Extra pillows and blanket were available. The aircon was easily controlled. The staff were very helpful and it was a really pleasant stay.

It was late October and the hotel very quiet. The bar seemed not to be open and it was necessary to go out for dinner. As an older couple we tend to stay in at night and it was unfortunate that the TV had no channels in English nor the ability to stream programs from subscription services like Netflix, or in house movies.

I really cannot recommend this hotel in Autumn

Loved the location. Right outside the walls of the city and next door to Train station. Also loved the size of the room, really it was a suite.

They switched the air conditioner off. As our room faced west it was unbearably hot and stuffy in the afternoon and evenings. When I complained I was told the aircon in the whole hotel had been turned off for winter, however I noticed the public areas still had aircon. We were able to open windows but that created a problem in the sound of the train station announcements were really loud, especially first thing in the morning. Also it let in mosquitoes. The other really bad thing was the toilet flush was not great and occasionally a horrible smell would come from it.

A very comfortable and conveniently located hotel for a visit to Avignon.

This hotel is perfectly situated to walk to all the sights around Avignon centre. We stayed for four nights and had a lovely room with a sitting area, separate toilet and bathroom. There is no evening food service but a very basic 'microwave style' menu is offered. The car parking is in a secure underground car park with direct lift access. You pay for the privilege but it is safe and would be difficult to park elsewhere.

Very frustratingly our key card failed every single day and although staff rectified it immediately it clearly wasn't a permanent fix. The advertised pool is a small plunge pool. But the sitting area around the pool has plenty of chairs and sunbeds.

We had a brief stay in Avignon on our way to Roussillon. It has more to offer than we had time for.

It was basic accommodation. Nothing particularly great but nothing bad either.

A perfect place to stay if visiting Avignon, very central and you can walk to most places.

The hotel is central to everything in Avignon. The rooms are large and spacious and clean.

Unfortunately we had a drainage smell from our bathroom on the first night. We advised reception and it certainly wasn’t as obvious on the following 2 nights.

Literally at the edge of the old town, the location is perfect. One can simply walk to all the attractions, restaurants etc. Practical and well appointed room - good size and well furnished. Very comfortable bed. Parking available on payment in underground parking directly under the hotel, so access is very good.

Breakfast was just so- so. The hotel is reasonably large and hence a bit impersonal. In the evening it was raining and hotel was not able to provide umbrellas since they had run out of stock.

Very pleasant, courteous and helpful staff, we stayed in an excellent big and comfortable room. A very good breakfast was included in our hotel rates.

We had to wait until 4 pm for check-in, but this was not so important as we were able to visit the city in the interim.

The room is big with a small living room area and there is a patio.

The check in time is at 4:00pm, but the room was not ready until an half hour later. It says that coffee is refillable, but it was bit true. When ask, I was told they don't have any!
