One step from the train, one step from history

The location was excellent - next to the railway station and opposite the old city. I had a view of the Papal Palace from my window. The breakfast was very good.

Location was excellent - walking distance to the center of the city with lots of places to eat. Also, just feet from the train station. Breakfast was good and opened very early. Rooms were quiet.

Rooms were very tight - almost no place to open a suitcase. Felt like a dormitory room rather than a hotel. We were there during the theater festival, which we didn't expect, so it was very busy. Hotel itself, however was quiet.

Clean, attractive Ibis located at Centre Gare, next door to the bus station.

We picked the Ibis location because we planned to go to Pont de Gard aqueduct the next morning, on the bus located next door. The room was clean and the common areas were attractive. People at the desk were helpful and they stored our bags while we were gone. We were very satisfied with our one night stay.

The hotel is above the street level and the taxi dropped us about a block away.

It was certainly practical location.

The location was perfect between Ty of the train station and bus station. Also opposite one of the entrances into the walled city of Avignon. Good choice of breakfast.

The hotel is so close to the station that you can hear station announcements if your window is open! I didn’t mind it but the concrete brutalist architecture and the hotel lobby has a late 70’s vibe.

Dirty, smelly. Staff really didn’t seem very helpful. Whilst there is building work going on outside, there are no clear signs on how to get into the hotel. When you find the entrance through the car park there are drunks/ homeless and drug users by the door to get in. Our room was supposed to be a deluxe room, it was tiny. Once the luggage was there no room to move. We actually moved rooms, which was slightly bigger but no coffee maker.

Great location. Nice breakfast. The bed and pillow are comfortable. Friendly and helpful staffs. Hot water is strong.

The hairdryer is not user friendly. No kettle in the room. the room is way smaller than we expected. AC is weak.

Location is good, near the train station and walking distance to the Avignon old center. The sound isolation was good, so no noise from outside. The room was clean.

The rooms are really tiny. Not so much space to maneuver a big luggage. The hotel rooms needs to be refurbished. The breakfast was basic continental, not bad, but it wasn't too much variation. Arround the hotel and the train station, there is a construction site, so the access to the hotel is not easy and you need to pass some kind of passage which is not really friendly (smell, dirt...).

We put a silly special request of pictures in our room and bless them. The staff at the ibis went out their way to fulfil our special request.

The only issue I had was my mobile wiped my key but the staff at reception were super helpful in fixing so it was a very mild irritant on an otherwise great stay

Comfy stay in convenient location.

Location near the station, cleanliness, very friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic! The rooms are small but functional, definitely adequate for a couple of nights.

The current construction at the station makes the hotel look uninviting.
