    The hotel was welcoming and clean with comfortable beds. However, the rooms are quite long and thin with a small bathroom. The interior decor was also quite dated even though we were in the ‘new part’. But it was fine for a short overnight stop and just across the road from an underground carpark which had plenty of EV chargers

    This is a beautiful hotel which used to be an abbey . It has several courtyards to sit out in and a roof top pool . Breakfast was self service with lots of choice. My recommendation would be to ask for a room in the old part . We stayed in what they called the modern part . The room was huge but the layout was strange with the bathroom immediately as you opened the door . The decor felt a little dated in the room . The hotel is moments from the station and the beautiful old town is on your doorstep . The staff were really helpful .

    I ended up with a spacious two level Loft first floor was a daybed, the toilet and the shower. Upstairs a large comfortable bed, desk, the TV and the climate control with a mini fridge. My favorite part was the rooftop swimming pool and sunning area. The restaurant is pretty good for dinner. The breakfast was extensive. I recommend this place without any reservation. The housekeeping staff was excellent as were the people at the front desk. It has a very Serene Vibe overall because it used to be a cloister. I love how Europeans repurpose these types of buildings.
