Maybe the breakfast could have been a little bit more fun...also would have been nice that we could have been allowed to sit at the nice/any off the table in the restaurant not just at one specific table by the breakfast buffé. Otherwise everything was lovely.

The Location is good

The photos on the website is misleading. Very small cramped old room, not vaguely what is on the property photos. ALL the rooms should be represented on the photos. Lift does not work, so suitcases needs to be manualy wrangled up narrow and steep steps...

Good position, but it is the only nice thing

Amazing position, in the very center of the town, close to every monument. Good breakfast.

Cleaning was unsatisfactory. Bed linen were full of hair (I have pictures) and stained. Bathroom was smelly and basin had stains and shown it was not clean at all. Third floor is without elevator. The room was very noisy

Excellent and most central stay in Avignon

Very central location, cozy rooms, helpful staff and very convenient dining options at the hotel’s restaurant. Booked very last minute and the owner was very accommodating, will definitely come back.

Not as expected

Location is fantastic. Very beautiful room booked for family of 3 with a wonderful view.

Electric went during the evening, staff ignored me at reception. No aircon or power to our room during the night. Still not resolved in the morning. Staff the next day we're nice, gave us another room to shower in and apologised but it was very warm, terrible sleep. Such a shame as its a beautiful place.

Location very central and easy walking access to tourist attractions. Carpark almost directly under the hotel so easy parking.

The location was central and convenient for looking around the city

The hotel was shabby, unclean and dark. The breakfast was poor value for money and the staff unhelpful. The bathroom looked unclean, and the towels were as hard as cardboard and grey. The pillows were unsupportive and the mattress very hard making for an uncomfortable night. Well overdue a refurb.

Access very difficult . Dragged suitcase over very cobbled stones for very long way from parking . Access to room very difficult - lift interspersed with stairs.

Interesting old hotel close to pallaces in old town, character, great staff, restaurant.

A quaint small room for 2 people with simple en-suite bathroom. On the top (3rd) floor of a very old building. Room 21 has a large comfy bed with a reason comfy metrus that sags in the middle, but otherwise is good. Bed sheet, 2 pillows with pillow case and blanket and bed cover included. Hand towel and bath towel included. One small wooden night stand on each side of bed. One chair in corner of room. One step up in the tiny brathroom, which contaisn a toilet, sink and walk-in shower. Shower has hot water and reasonable presure. Showerhead can be removed the wall. Small bar of soap and one small bottle of shower jell included in room for free. Several toilet roles of paper provided. Free bottles of water offered to guests. Continental paid breakfast available daily: 14.50 Euros per person. Bread, crascens, pastries, cheese, ham, juces,tea/coffee. Breatfast available between 7 and 10 am. Restaurant available at hotel from 12 pm until 9 pm. Restaurant has tasty food. I ate there and would recommend. Hotel is almost next thePalace of the Pates and the Petit Palace. Great location in the 'old town', inside the walls. Good, elpfulstaff, most speak some English. Lift/elevator to all floors, very old, small and a littel slow. Key to enter room.

Not the cleanest or best quality hotel. Place mats at the breakfast table were a bit dusty. Several pieces of furniture had damage. Lift/elevator do is very heavy. Also room door. Air condtion remote control didn't work in room 21. also phone to call reception didn't work in room 21. restaurant closes a little early: 21:00 (9 pm). Nofree tea/coffee available in room ro at reception. Paid oly. Very little furniture in room: no wardrobe, no hooks to hang clothes, no place to put clothes, items etc. My female partner found this most annoying. Long way from bus/train stations. Taxi to bus station 25 Euros.

It was a hotel that was rather chaotic at times,could be very disorganised.

The location is perfect and the parking is just under the hotel. Gentle staff and very particular environment right in the main square of Avignon.

Not really friendly for mobility reduced guests but this is because of the configuration of the building with its obvious challenges.

I liked my room and the decor. It was like stepping back in time and everything was lovely. They have a nice breakfast spread too. Bathroom is a good size and very clean.

Perfect location and very nice staff. The hotel was very clean and situated in a historic building which had a lot of character.

The hotel is situated in an old building which we loved as it complemented the historical surroundings but some people may find that it lacked the mod cons of a new hotel.
