This was our second stay at this hotel. The room had been recently refurbished and was lovely, clean and warm.
The evening meal was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient.

Great location being just off the motorway. Ideal for overnight stay. Had a very nice evening meal, service was very good considering the young lady serving was running the bar and waiting on tables aswell all on her own. She always had a smile and was very welcoming to everyone who came in.
The room i had was clean and comfortable and had what was needed but could do with some TLC especially in the bathroom but is no worse than most of the well used hotels and inns. Didn't get to have the breakfast as they couldn't get a cook for the next morning so was a bit disappointed.

Staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome, the breakfast was delicious and included in the room price making for excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend the old stables, a very well run establishment.

The staff were very kind and helpful. from the bookings information we had not realised it was a pub with rooms rather than a small hotel.
Because we had failed to understand the nature of the accommodation it did not meet our expectations but it transpired the venue offered a good basic service and was value for money.
