The facilities were lovely and the location nice and quiet, easy walking distance into Windermere and Windermere on Bowness, staff really friendly and helpful, breakfast was really tasty.
The breakfast was lovely but we waited over an hour for our breakfast on the last day, we were served our cooked breakfast after two couples who ordered after us. We had a bit of trouble with the heating in room 7 it was very cold in that room, but the hosts did help and the heating did eventually come on, maybe the master switch needs to be put on a bit earlier for that area of the property as it only came on later on in the evening.

Great staff. Good location between Windermere and Bowness - with valuable bonus of private off-road parking. Very clean. Comfy, quiet room. Good breakfast.

From getting out of the car and being booked in with a smile on her face.shown to our room, explained the workings and breakfast times, Room spotless and clean.
The best thing was the position of the hotel 15 mins from Bowness and 10mins from Windermere walking. Bus stop outside front door giving excellent travel around the lake district.we parked the car Monday dinnertime and left it there all week.
I would recommend this hotel full marks.
Couldn't Fault.

It was clean
The plumbing and shower in room 5 were both really poor. The lighting on the stairs was so low as to be dangerous. The stairs were steep.
