The hosts were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We felt like we were home from home, but in amazing beautiful surroundings. The bedroom and the bathroom were tastefully designed and beautiful. The main attraction is the fantastic garden that is exceptionally beautiful and clearly lovingly tended to. I am recommending this hotel to anyone who wants the best experience of the lake district. Location is superb.

The host was delightful, very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We had a lovely apartment with a view of the beautiful garden. The breakfast was delicious. It's in a great location, the nearby towns can be busy and touristy so parking can be tricky but there is a frequent bus service near the house which the host informed us of and which we used during our stay.
I can't think of a single thing that needs improving. I will definitely be back!

Alena has been a fantastic host, always kind and helpful. The room was great, as was the beautiful garden. Great breakfast and excellent location. Highly recommend!

Beautiful period house and amazing gardens . Our room was so spacious with a lovely outside patio just for this room. The bed very comfortable too.
