Windermere Park B&B inc Free off-site Health Club

Breakfast was excellent. The room was on the second floor with no lift (the property is an old house converted into a B&B. The property requires a general overhaul and may create a possibility of installing a lift. My wife and I are nearly 70 years old And going up the stairs wasn't that easy for us. We had asked for a room change, but with no luck. I highly recommend that some sort of AC system be installed. When we were there, it was a heatwave, and we could hardly sleep. The weather is changing, and the UK is not prepared for it. Location was great, with only a few minutes to Windermere near the boats. The health club was about a 10-15-minute drive, which was ok considering a drive in the countryside. The car park was ok and always had a place reserved for you.

At least, a proper fan could have been better, the fan at full speed with little feeling of wind. This B&B is not suitable for the elderly on the second floor. At a minimum, we expected to be placed in a room suitable for us, given our age.

Good location. Downhill walk to Bowness ( regular bus service to come back uphill ! ) Good sized twin room on ground floor. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Pleasant staff

this place is the best, right on the edge of town, the staff are amazing and so helpful, and our room WOWza!

Good space parking, close to town centre.

Traffic noise very loud as B&B is on the main rd. Shower performance very poor, and fan not working making room very hot, manager didn't seem to care when mentioning it. Breakfast options poor. Free health club is a 20mins drive away, why advertising it if not on site. Not value for money in my opinion.
