Beautiful place, great facilities but unable to use the hot tub!

The room and facilities on the face of it were amazing and we couldn’t ask for more! It was booked as a gift for a wedding present for us.

I am disappointed that nowhere within the booking was it highlighted to me that the hot tub could only be used during certain hours. This spoilt the overnight experience as that was the whole point in booking this room but due to the late check in then having to go out for dinner the guests were unable to use the facilities for more than 19 minutes due to noise! Why take a booking for 1 night for a hot tub if the guests are unable to use it. Due to this I feel it spoilt the present for the guests.

Friendly welcoming staff, Prosecco on arrival! Got taken to our room, breakfast was lovely and fresh, very comfy beds, sauna and jacuzzi bath was an extra bonus.

A perfect hotel for a special break

Just a wonderful experience from start to finish We stayed for short honeymoon the hotel was everything we wanted and more Staff were engaging,helpful and made you feel special. Food was excellent and the facilities were amazing. Can’t wait to do it all again

Great stay with fantastic staff

Catherine and Lauren were extremely helpful. Everything was taken care of from start to finish with nothing being too much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic with a good choice and served hot.

It would be helpful if you heated the plates before serving so that the food stayed hotter for longer.

Stunning place to stay

Absolutely stunning. Staff were all so lovely, nothing too much trouble. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed. Location great for a visit to the lake and the train station whether walking or driving. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

The lady on the desk was super friendly and helpful. We loved the size of our suite and the little touches they provided.

The only issue we found was the hot water tap in the hot tub wasn't quite warm enough once we'd filled it up.

The glass of champagne upon arrival was a nice surprise. The room was AMAZING!! the outdoor covered hottub was perfect as spent all night in it even in the rain. The staff was amazing, so nice helpful & friendly

Great hotel - highly recommend!

Great hotel within walking distance of local bars and restaurants. Room was very clean and comfortable with good facilities, the sauna in the room was a great bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was lovely. Would highly recommend!

A perfect location for a romantic getaway

Wonderful experience

Comfort, bed very comfortable. Hot tub cosy. Spa bathroom perfect. Deco high standards. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast, plenty of choice would highly recommend. We stayed in the honey suite and there was even a lovely outside balcony to sit and have a coffee. Wonderful experience and would defo come again.

It would have been great if the room had a mini fridge. We brought some schlor and it's much better cold. A mini fridge to store soft drinks in and milk would really make the room.

Perfect stay

We stayed in the Honey Suite and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The room was spotless, beautifully presented and very comfortable. On arrival we were greeted by lovely, welcoming staff and even treated to prosecco, which was such a nice touch. The suite had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the location couldn’t have been better – peaceful but still close to everything in Windermere. A truly memorable experience and we can’t wait to return!

The best place to stay in the lake district.

This was one of the most luxurious hotels me and my boyfriend have ever stayed at. The room was exceptional, and the hotub and steam room were perfect. The furnishings are beautiful and done to a high standard. Richard and Lynn were really friendly and helpful, along with Lucas, who cooks exquisite meals to order, which makes you feel you've got your own personal chef. We can't wait to visit again Kirsty and Andrew xx

If you’ve tried the rest come stay at the VERY BEST!!!

Absolutely stunning the photos do not do this place justice, everywhere you look it’s immaculate! We stayed at another hotel in newby bridge on the river front which was extremely disappointing for 2 nights before coming here and this hotel blew our minds!! The quality or the place, the service, the owners which are lovely people so welcoming and nothing a problem, me and my GF of 20 years have travelled all over the county to some what we thought were special places but this is THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED!!! And that includes anything abroad, I cannot emphasise how good this hotel is, we had a sauna and a spa bath but next time we are getting a suite with a hot tub

We have had the most wonderful relaxing stay in the Honey Suite. Peaceful, luxurious and spotless

Absolutely beautiful little place. The room (honey suite) was perfect - super comfy bed, stunning bathroom with spa bath and wonderful outdoor private hot tub which was so relaxing. Spotlessly clean. Location was perfect - a short 10 minute walk to either Bowness or Windermere. The staff we very friendly and keen to help.

A couple of things in room, damp patch were previously a leak had occurred but left marks on ceiling and a few places were cleaners had missed marks and cobwebs
