    nice location very close to the lake and easy to find shops and restaurants nearby. staffs were so lovely and welcoming. the room was cozy, towels provided weren’t clean tho.

    Nice room with plenty of space. Kingsize comfy bed. Shower was a little poor due to water pressure but adequate. We enjoyed our stay, the room was comfortable and quiet at night

    Our room had fabulous view of the lake and surrounding hills. Lovely large comfortable bed. It was a good size room . The inn is just at the top of the hill in central Bowness, ideal for all the shops , cafes etc. There was no breakfast but we found a place a couple of doors down selling great takeaway breakfast items.

    While the host of the Westmorland was charming- that was where it stopped. We had room 5, up 2 flights of stairs, and the bathroom was abysmal. The water pressure was non existent- I had to leave the hot tap running for over 8 minutes to get hot water. The placement of the shower door, which didn’t shut properly meant that you had to contort yourself around the door to get out of the bathroom. Definitely won’t be back
