Fabulous, tranquil location. Lovely grounds. Dog friendly. Only a 20 minute walk into Bowness on Windermere and all the shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants. The food at the hotel was excellent.
Room was a bit small but was described as a "small double.

Location was great. It was very dog friendly. The guys running it are friendly and hospitable.
Loud music on arrival lasted all afternoon. Room was tired and bathroom needs upgrade. Windows were dirty. Breakfast was ok not much choice. The hotel decor is strange for a country house hotel.
