The hotel itself was stunning and picturesque, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, room was cleaner than clean and we loved the robes and the subtle Beatrix potter theme throughout the property.
Not easily accessible by foot unfortunately, especially with a pram, although staff were most helpful to accommodate this.

Good old fashioned service. Very pleasant staff, interesting quirky decor !!!! Interesting history to building.

Beautiful property in an excellent location. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Room was dated and impractical - large furniture that was inaccessible because of the bed. Beds weren’t particularly comfortable and there were some stains on lampshade and wall.
