Bar staff and night manager were really pleasant, nice & modern bar & eating area .
Ideally located for the town centre.
I think the price we payed for one night was overpriced, had to pay for parking on top of room price, room was clean but very small. Carpets throughout the hotel look tired, we had to get to our room (132) down some steep stairs from the main corridor which was a bit of a squeeze with our bags.no lift to first floor.
Coffee at breakfast wasn’t good, be carful off the plates they are boiling hot when you pick out of the plate dispenser.

Outside light streaming through curtains disturbing sleep
Uncomfortable pillows with no support although the bed was comfy but only a small double not a king. I suggest blinds or curtains on rack preferably with pelmet .
The sink and shower drain didn’t drain . The connection between shower tube and head was broken and water sprayed everywhere .
One of the reading lights didn’t work of the table light . Fridge cupboard door wouldn’t close
